@@thatsjustnotfair5888 I mean not really, it’s been so long the guy sorta left me alone I guess. It was a very sad and depressing few months. There’s money that is just gone but I’m happy that the continuous withdraw amounts in the morning stopped. I’m lucky to have a supportive family. I lost my fb with all my network and Instagram too. But life is not perfect so it is what it is.

Thanks for the information, I got my identity theft as someone did my 2020 tax return for me, however they didn't have all my info and reported a much lower amount then what I actually made last year.....now whomever they may be, have all my info, socialsecurity and IRS, but like you pointed out, this is widespread.

I got a letter from TD with a debit card. I don’t have TD Bank and called them. The rep transferred me over to the Identity Theft and they closed the account completely. I just now got a letter from Unemployment (I have a full time job btw lol) saying how I apparently filed a claim for unemployed and they suspect it is identity theft.

Question please , so my ant was born in USA but left to mexico when she was a kid. Another relative got a hold of her social and born certificate and that person came to USA as an adult and been living in the USA for 45 years now . We recently found out that that person is basically living a normal live, worked got married got driver lisence and basically been living in USA for many years now. My ant wants to go to USA but since the other person has been living there for more than 45 years with her identity what ever happends now. Has my ant lost her identity now or what can she do when the other person basically has a whole entire life now in USA
Is there anything to gain from your personal information being breach ,from this theft. In example, such as acquired real estate under your name. And if or when you apply for Medicare or Government Assistance.
Bro thats terrible, we got our stuff stolen and they took a important box woth mine and my sibling birth certificates and all our socials, its terrible and scary, they haven't done anything yet woth our stuff but when I get older I'm afraid of what the outcomes will bring
