I've got a lot of disabilities + chronic migraines, but I've become obsessed with idv and my mains are Mech and Photographer now and you don't know just how helpful this is. I can't process information that I even forcefeed my own brain and it literally physically hurts, but you managed to explain everything perfectly for me. Now I know I have smth to come back to if I or someone else have any questions.

I think I might try this build one of these days. Tbh though, Joseph is the easiest hunter for me to win against and one of the more difficult hunters for me to win with. He stalls cipher progress, but gives survivors a second world to interact with and spends time hunting fake survivors. Like you mentioned, the survivors can see him teleport regardless what world he is in, but Tinnitus only activates for him when he is in the same world as survivors.

This is helping me so much in rank, the guide was told well and I understood how the camera world works. The jump scare and the trick to put people on chairs and then camera not only to slow the game down but also make rescuing more troublesome. I followed this guide and I finally bought Joseph. I literally can’t be beaten. No matter how hard the survivors try, they just can’t win against me now. The closest to loosing I’ve gotten was just a draw but those were due to chores and my mom mostly. It’s kinda annoying yet satisfying that I can’t be beaten in a weird way tbh. He’s just so OP

I got photographer and a skin for him last night, but I’ve never even had a trial on Joseph so I was very confused as to what I was supposed to do with his skills. This was very helpful, thank you!

You can still jumpscare a survivor if there in photoworld. You can be in the real world when there in photo. So u can enter threw a camera and terror shock them in the photoworld

No i thought it was like this You can decode in photo world but after the timer ends the progress in the machine in photo world will be cut in half but the real decoding progress won’t be cut in half and the progress and the progress in photo world will be added to the real world’s decoding progress Like this Photo world decoding progress: 80% Real world decoding progress: 0% Timer runs out 80% divided 2 is 40% Now real world decoding progress 40%

Joseph is literally bullied so easily, props to all Joseph mains out there. The game is extremely survivor sided and the fact that the devs continue to release more broken and bullying survivors shows how much survivors are favoured in this game. Joseph is easily countered and it's extremely hard to chase on foot with him. The cooldown of the camera takes forever and card trick is hard to master. Blinks are always missed when playing Joseph. I've never missed a blink with any other hunter. Joseph needs a buff. That's it.

I have something to ask you people! The second skill for Joseph can be used in another way....don't hold that skill....just press it. You may be asking why...well that is helpfull because if u press it one time it will show you the direction of where the survivor is...and this skill can be combinated with a perk with an ear-mark...because you don't cleary know where is the survivor,but when you use your skill you will know....it's like a wallhack.....but it isn't...this game keeps surprising me a lot.....

Thank you because when i first got photographer I thought he was gonna be like any other hunter till I got beat 3 times and a row and I started camping which is unfair so I just kept Joseph as an accessory but now I can probably play more of Joseph

you know, thats a great persona but you yourself said that almost every game the gates are gonna get opened. so they can just heal theirselves before the last cipher, thats not very usual but sometimes it happens, and they'll only be a one shot kill with that persona build if you hit them directly and they dont heal theirselves. and even when they are one shot kills at the ending your movement speed will still be very slow, despite that 8 sec pursuit boost you will be slower. and i dont see much use to the rocket chair survivor's outline, you (or atleast me) most of the time you're gonna want to camp. and the blink strategy is great but sometimes its better to use teleport, specifically with full presence, for example, you can use teleport in a decoding cipher, hit whoever was there decoding and then use your second skill and go back to the rocket chair.

PLEASE. I DIDNT KNOW HIS SECOND ABILITY IS TELEPORT. I THOUGHT IT JUST POINTS U TO A SURV. LITERALLY SHOOK

Doctor can heal herself so that she won't be one scoped. However, that does not mean she is a direct counter to the photographer.

Early game technique was so awesome have a like for that !!

But detention is useful if you can’t find their mirror image in the photo world or there’s a doctor on the team. Doctors are Joseph’s counter, they can heal that 0.5 damage that they get.

This guide is sublime. I'll be play a lot more Joseph soon. I love a good Schtick that slows down the game and let's me control tempo. #azorius

Hi Perswayable. There's something I want to ask about the Hunt perk in your persona build. Will it lose the effect after destroying pallet or missing an attack? Because I can't see it listed on the top left corner of my screen so I don't know if I'm having it or not. I know I'm not a top player, but I just want to share my persona build and maybe we could discuss something about Joseph. I've recently changed to using him instead of Wu Chang as I need to slow down the game to make up for some of my mistakes lol

This is why when there is a docter on the team, i use wu chang instead of photographer, because she can full heal people

recently I did this and I played photographer then I won 15wins streak .. I guess you were right perswayable :D with good fps and ping then more likely you'll win I didn't camp for 15 games but I only camp when there's near survivor but a little bit distance

The way to counter the photographer when he puts a survivor and tries to activate photo world, I just stay until he moves to the camera and save the survivor, when the photographer goes for the guy on the chair, I go into the photo world and save him there.
