I did like that scene where Sonic is like "let's get some tacos" for Tails to be shocked about him not wanting chili dogs with Sonic like "Hey I like other things besides chili dogs"
Sonic’s speech in this issue is truly an awesome moment. It shows how Sonic and Belle’s relationship has developed and how he has come to see Belle as more of a friend than early on. Truly one of his best moments
If I had a nickel for every time all Eggman robots are mind controlled, but conveniently it leaves out a major robot character, I would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but its strange it happened twice.
It definitely is a horror movie with Belle uttering the phrase "get out." I think Sonic is very much capable of crying. He either turns away so no one will notice or he cries on the inside. Sonic X is the prime example of this. I hope they don't do this release schedule again. Separating the side story from the main story between months has taken too much time.
it helps what, unlike the other villains he mentioned, Bell is essentially silent or at least talking about one specific thing and not making jokes and things like that
Omega might be able to resist it if he's had serious modification since his creation. Otherwise I think he'd be as susceptible since the signal seems to target even the older model badniks. I don't think his free will would be a factor since that didn't help Belle.

Now that’s Sad Mr. Tinker A.K.A Eggman knew he was going to be evil again after being kidnapped and still went with them to protect Belle meaning he loved being good and hated being bad. Poor Mr. Tinker just wanted to live a normal healthy and good life and Starline took that away from him.
He feared that he MIGHT become Eggman again; he didn't see any hope of rescue and knew that Starline was gonna keep trying, so he wrote the note. Had Metal Sonic not shown up, Starlines efforts would have been for naught; and perhaps Mr. Tinker would have had a chance. Honestly, Starline did what Sonic SHOULD have done, remind Mr. Tinker of who he was. A War is not just water under a bridge, Mr. Tinker need to know so he could repent of what he did as Eggman. Sonic never gave him that opportunity; Starline did, even though that wasn't his intention.
The panel with Sonic Cheering up Belle was so heartwarming bc he may have not saved Mr. Tinker but at least he helped his daughter. And that’s the Sonic I know :)
Considering how he was rude and distrusting of her at first like the people of Windmill village were after the metal Virus incident, and after all the hell she's been through, I think his speech redeemed him in my eye. Mister Tinker was a friend even though he was Eggman with amnesia and the least Sonic could do to honor him is be nice to and help his daughter.
@@beckthetinkerbot Mr. Tinker was more than Eggman with amnesia. Yeah, I bet you thought you'd never hear that coming from me; honestly, neither did I. However, the fact that he DID end up realizing that he was Eggman and felt remorse for what he did as him proves it. They may have been the same person, but they were two different personalities. I still feel that Sonic, his friends, and/or the villagers shouldn't have gave up so soon on convincing him of who he was; but it would be wrong of me to continue deeming Mr. Tinker as an excuse for Sonic to do nothing about his worse enemy after he intentionally took so many lives.
wait, a giant metropolis, with multiple sections surrounding a big central skyscraper? that kinda sounds like midgar from FF7 (especially apt since midgar pretty much ends up with 6 sectors instead of 8), all's left is for us to see if this city also has another city under it, and next thing you know eggman's making an army composed of amnesiac super soldiers powered by mystical energy and possessing alien DNA- actually never mind that just sounds like shadow androids. mr tinker's confession very vaguely reminds me of gerald's diary, specifically his final moments where he admits to losing his sanity, except, y'know, way less vengeful. either way, yea, that was a really nice scene.
Sonic having tacos for lunch is the most taken a back thing I’ve ever heard. Tails reaction is completely relatable. I guess it’s just how chili dogs are his staple food that it’s part of his character. However it’s cool that we get to see him eat other foods besides chili dogs.
in "shadow the hedgehog" if you take 9 minutes to defeat BlackDoom we can hear a repentant Eggman and somewhat hopeless. in my opinion the most vulnerable moment in which we have seen the doctor
@@videogollumer I think the only time everyone can TRULY sympathize with Eggman is in Sonic X episode where he watches the recording of his own grandfather getting shot down by G.U.N. soldiers.
Omega did get a new body after the Metal Virus stuff, so maybe it came with resistace to the signal? Gemerl likely isn't effected either as he was rebuilt by Tails after he was smashed up in Advanced 3 and he might've possibly disabled Eggman's control tech, of course Emerl was originally built by the Nocturnus Clan.
@@videogollumer I assume they did, tho it's the only thing with any origin for Gizoids. I guess it could be changed to the Knuckles Clan actually secretly possessing the tech to make Emerl, or that he was made by a unknown Alien race

After read that issue, it was really heartbreaking to see that note, and everyone’s theory that Motobug was indeed the one Mr. Tinker reprogrammed was the one thing left behind by Belle’s father was truly sad. Tinker accepted his fate and writing that note to Belle was his final goodbye to his daughter before going back to his Eggman persona. I’m glad that Belle finally has closure about losing her father and now she can focus on helping Sonic and friends defeat Eggman, Starline, Surge and Kit, and also the other threats to their home

I completely agree about the comic swapping element causing some headache with delays. It feels like we’ve been waiting for issue 50 for quite a while now having met Surge and Kit. I was also glad that Belle couldn’t resist the signal the same way Gemerl did with “I know you’re in there” being the key. The Zeti Zapper works well. Speaking of Gemerl, I had to worry about Cream and Vanilla, Cheese and Chocola but maybe his signal adapter hasn’t been fixed yet after he punched it out. I’m so ready for IMP #4 and Issue 50 now!
Since Belle is going with them I'm looking forward to Belle's first meeting with her sorta brother Metal Sonic. The two favoured children of Dr. Robotnik's two personas, Eggman and Mr. Tinker. One a war machine, the other a builder. How will they react to each other? I guess we'll find out in the coming issues.
I think Omega would be an exception as he was exempt from the network all together. Without the network, which is what the signal probably transmits through, the likelyhood of Omega receiving the signal is low. The same goes for Gemeral.
I get the feeling Eggman will call a temporary truce or Sonic will to each other to deal with Starline, Surge, & Kit since this is a trap for them. But unknown to Starline, it is also a trap for him too. Question is, will Surge and Kit be villains to anti-villains after all the this? Or will one of them be given a chance to find out who they are with the heroes help?
Since this takes place with Sonic Forces in mind, with the mention of a war and the appearance of mobians and wispons throughout. I really wish they would make the Promotional Avatars(Gadget the Wolf, Fuchsia the Cat, Corvin/Lot the Bird, Grey the Rabbit, Spike the Cat, and Porter the Superdog or at least just Rookies since those are just fan-names) from Forces to become real characters.
Man, poor poor Belle. She's like the Wanda Maximoff of IDW Sonic. Seems like her sole existence is for life to find new ways of making her suffer and or burst into tears. Surprised she hasn't snapped and went on a rampage yet.
Am I the only one who thinks Sonic Comics are just like the Sonic Games and TV Shows since all 3 seem to get much worse over time. (Also when I talk about the TV shows I mean Sonic Boom season 1 is better than Season 2 and not Sonic Underground is better than Sonic X).

@@secoTheSonicFan The Archie Sonic comics had a story that dragged on more then twice as long (Post Genesis Wave Saga or whatever it's called) and it will still always be more interesting. However it is partly because Archie Sonic had tons of interesting characters meanwhile IDW Sonic has Surge, Kit and Starline who are all great characters, Tangle whose importance to the series is inconsistent, Whisper whose in that boat but worse, Belle who is so boring I would prefer they bring Cream back and a ton of other characters I don't bother to remember.
I seriously have to ask my self what the Editors on this book are even doing. Like wow the entire inciting incident here is a massive continuity issue from the word go. So let me quickly explain why. 1) Eggman also used a control signal according to Tails during the Dimension creation tower story line yet Belle wasn't affected at all despite the Egg Pawn's recognizing her as one of there own so the very idea that just a random signal could do this is ridicules from the word go. 2) Even assuming Belle would still be able to be affected by it would I have hoped that after Tails gives her a check up (you know because Starline hacked into her mind that one time) would he also have removed her Wifi given that all it would ever do is allow others access to her mind. 3) And why is it even treated as such a big deal for Belle and Motorbud anyway. Gemerl who is also an Eggman creation could just casually smash his own wifi with his fist to become immune to outside signals against Zenna so just let Tails rip out there Wifi and things will work just fine. 4) Also just logically speaking why should Belle even have such a function in her body anyway? Sure Tinker subcontinental used a lot of his older designs but Belle's code you know the part that would have to respond to such a signal was all new. it was so new that Starline could only get it from her even. 5) And Finally towards the resolution its really lucky that Tails happen to have one of the Zeti Zappers in his workshop when he apparently build all of them in his bigger lab in central city going off the Zeti Hunt arc. That the letter inside the Motobud not only survived all of the water and fire from the previous story is kinda contrived but I guess Tinker would have been smart enough to make Motobud water proved. However given that it was Motobud's assigned job to give Belle this letter apparently is it really strange that he never made any attempts to get her to take it from him. Also funny how Eggman got to build something this large without anyone noticing given that everyone would be looking for him even harder than they use given the 2 apocalyptic situations he caused over the last 6 months. I have to say it having the Metal Virus arc happen to early and so quickly after Forces really destabilized the whole world building for anything Eggman related. Also am I the only one to get kinda annoyed how literally every single show case issue for Belle since her introduction had been the ever same drama about her origin as an Eggman creation. Between Gemerl and Omega, as well as Gamma and Chaos Gamma on top of there being nothing else to Belle's Character so far does it get really annoying how little there is to her. Like get on with it and if you don't want to resolve it all at ones already than at least put other stuff between these moments so that she actually has a personality out side of being sad about her creators fate. (and as a final thing Tails the story starts at your house so could you really not have grabbed your Miles Electrics to call Jewel so that the Restauration knows a Giant Eggman arms is forming. I get Sonic rushing in but come on you are to smart to not do that) Really there isn't much more to say its build up to a big fight, the drama bits have been repeated so frequently that they lost there meaning and the logic behind most of it is just brocken. All I can hope is that the villain side of the story works out better.

That would be only excusable if this problems first started when the Movie came out but they guys are clearly way to distracted all the time. 1) first of all did you pay no attention to Imposter Syndrom 2? We clearly learned there that Eggman's wlan runs over its own separated network for maximum performance. And also this doesn't really address the issue as the energy of a signal should only effect its reach meaning if it can still effect other robots should it also effect Belle as she is build like them (that little bit wood on her should do almost nothing to change that) 2)Oh comeo ne Ethernet isn't that bad. People didn't like how much build up he did in the Archie Reboot during the Unleashed adaption in order to have a good build world when he wanted to finally make the Metal Virus happen (it was setup at the end of Eggman's Dosens after all) so he really Rushed it now in IDW and the comic is still suffering the problems this decision caused. As for GUN. Going off developer comments towards Forces did they just created as if this was an all new series with no humans beside Eggman leading to them not be addressed at all which is why now that 2 Worlds is dead its the 2 games that relied actually on 2 worlds Unleashed and Forces that suffer the most from it (which is good because these 2 stories deserve being erased as much as possible for planed and executed assassination of the series continuity) So I expect GUN to be alive and well next time we see them as if nothing ever happened, Your idea is properly the most logical way they could go about it if there want to introduce the humans back into the Comics (even if this crashes into the issue of how quickly the world was fixed after major disasters twice by now and that no one tried to evacuate the civilians to the human bunkers ones the Metal Virus hit) Well as you said your self this story isn't over yet and I don't want to speculate on if they finally do something new with Belle or not. At any rate is my interest in the Character now pretty low because of how they did nothing for her but this one point for all 5 story arcs she has been present in.(4 issues of Chao racing and badnik bases, 3 issues for Elemental Egg Vipers,2 issues out of Zeti Hunt, 3 issues for Trial by fire and now the first issue of this) But they really had no need to Rush this much they had Motobud they to fallow and could easily stop him for as long as there need for Tails to get his damn IPad. I just had a good night at Casinopolis so I got the money for all 4 offerings. So the first 2 are quite easy to go through really. Arlo and Mark didn't enjoy the movie and so beside the actual existing issues with the movie did there go on to make a few up or deny the validity of some based on them "not doing it for them" as if this in any way is an objective criticize. Arlo was however far worse than Mark. Arlo made so many things up and constantly made terribly obviously false accusation at the movies production team about how much they know about the series, how much they care and how much this is just a corporate cash grab only for almost all points to be super easy to refute by just point to scenes from the movie but also often reveal that for how much he talks about the movie production team not being fans he isn't a real fan ether by a long shoot constantly talking about things taking straight from the games like they would never fit into a Sonic game (like you know humans) and making it blatantly obvious that he just wanted a fully CGI movie with all anthros except Eggman taking place in all Classic era like looking locations and he dislikes it because it isn't want he wants it to be and it gets more praise than Detective Pikachu which he prefers so he makes shit up to justify his disliking rather than just being honest that he for entirely subjective reasons didn't enjoy it. Mark at least had quite a few good points and didn't go on about it for nearly as long about the same wrong points as Arlo did. Tho his response video was also not that great pretty much only picking out easy targets and the few times he choose comments that raised real arguments to where he was objectively wrong about were usually answered with a "its not enough to emotionally satisfy me so it doesn't count" Like I don't thing the movie is amazing its fun cinema but riddled with problems. But all the more I'm annoyed at how many of the more negative reviews are just so bad and wrong and almost always mange to miss all of the more important actual logical issues in the movie. Its way to often just "but it didn't feel right to me" rather than "X is contradicted by y from early so creating a continuity issue that damages the story of the me because it has consequence z" And this especially includes most of the "professional reviews" as well. On the Case Archie VS ken we learned that Ken was lying to the entire world HARD for the last few years as it was made beyond a reason for daub clear that Ken had nothing, Archie clearly had done all they needed to and Ken was just lying his way although the court case. With apparently the only reason he didn't lost entirely was because Archie back in the late 90s lost his original contract and the replacement they made him sign that they had was incomplete which ken used to stretch the court case out. The case concluded without a judgment as Archie and ken come to an agreement out of court that we don't know as there are to records for the public about it and ken claims he is legally not allowed to talk about what the settlement was. Given all of the evidence its quite amazing that Archie's first legal team actually manged to not win this case with in the first day or so. Other than me still cursing the apparent placement of CD in the timeline isn't they much for me to say about it really. Sure Sega's business practice is bad and Ian is directing the new cut-scenes but for now are these all the details. Like Okay 1 Thing I do have: The Japanese website says the museums mode gonna include never before seen Sonic 1 development documents. What do you thing they may have unearthed big enough to put it into the advertisements? At last you got to experience some of the most controversial games in this entire franchise.
