It's so entertaining to watch Gotham casually discussing the candidates while destroying Alireza's brother in the background and winning a piece without even realising it
Misheard him saying “then” instead of “and” as if it was in list order and thought this is pretty much the exact standings Ian, Gukesh, Pragg, Fabiano, Hikaru then Vidit, just switching Pragg and Hikaru. Thought Levy predicted the future for a sec there 😅
@@gachaleaks8654Bxg4+ is a check, so he can't move the Queen anywhere but f5, so you have to take the bishop, then pawn takes queen and you're both down a queen and a bishop.
Dumbest shit I’ve ever heard. If he didn’t break his nose, (damage is literally a part of judging) the fight would be different. The only argument is the eye pokes, which I think they should have deducted a point for. Especially the second one. Wouldn’t have mattered either way because he got slept but, maybe if he took a longer break after the eye pokes he would have done better
I’d kinda say levy is more of a heel than Hans. Hans seems genuinly likeable, levy seems like a toxic weak guy who talks big on the internet but couldn’t back it up irl, but somehow I keep watching him cause he makes the most exciting chess content.
wait, what???? For all I know, Hans was already arrogant prick even before cheat allegation. I still remember when he just got his GM title, he wandered around, found a chess tournament for charity causes with very low entrance fee. He livestreamed it, he asked to enter the tournament for free, they didn't oblige, Hans said, "other GM went to tournament for free. What did the point of me becoming GM?" I mean, was he so poor he couldn't pay less than $10 entrance fee?
