Any recommendations on getting my Apple Watch not stop tracking my workouts when I’m hitting the heavy bag. I put it into waterproof mode and even tighten up the band but it ALWAYS pauses it on accident and then I can’t really tell how many calories I’ve burned :/

Went out and bought an Apple Watch after watching the success it brought you. Haven’t missed a ring since dec 26th and down 18 pounds as of today. 40 to go but a great start for sure. Love your vids and please keep up the great work 👍👍

Awesome video dude! Thank you again for just being genuine & honest about the things you've learned and sharing those with us. I'm just a couple of months into my journey and I'm leaning more and more as each day passes. The biggest being CONSISTENCY. You may not see results from one day to the next, but if you keep showing up and staying after it, you will get there! It's a life change not just a 'quick 6 week weight loss plan'. As always, great video! I’ve been fortunate to go to some pretty high end health and wellness schools throughout my career and the best advice is always “caloric deficit”, and “keeping it simple”. Most who start this journey go super strict and burnout quickly. You have by far the most simplistic and understandable approach to fitness and this is the only channel I subscribe to. Less is more with content and you have found that balance. BTW, just upgraded to the Apple Watch Ultra from the 8 and for me it was well worth it. Besides the look, I like the shortcut buttons a lot. Great job!

Thank you again Bryan, this was a great video and helps keep motivation on track. 500 calorie deficit is all I go for, anymore and I feel it hard within a week. It's a journey as you say. Had a mean bout of covid start of Feb, after a perfect January start, but back on it. Consistency is key. Just needed to accept that I was poorly, and get back on it as soon as I was well enough. Whilst day to day performance matters on the day, it's the performance and consistency over time that delivers the improvements. There are no quick wins, just good habits.

I agree, after years of on and off attempts to create a great physique, consistency is truly the number one thing u can do to keep making progress. Cant let work get in the way, so you gotta figure that out if you can.

Thank you for your videos!! Base metabolic rate or total calories burned on the Apple Watch from one of your videos was the biggest influence in helping me get and stay on a weight loss program. I’m a huge analytic and like to look at numbers so it was natural for me to create a spreadsheet and keep myself accountable to calories in vs. calories out. Starting the day after Christmas I’m just about 3 months in and am down from 314 to 267 so far.

The best fitness channel i've seen in a long while. My goal is to build a healthy lifestyle in the broadest sense, which includes a healthy relationship to food, my body, my mental health. Our values align a lot - it is more important to be kind to yourself, to be consistent instead of pushing and torturing yourself over unattainable and unrealistic goals. Nothing in life is ever worth it if i have to push myself so hard that it just sucks the joy out of it.

OMG THANK YOU. A voice of reason! I have fasted, not fasted. Eaten Keto, High Protein, Calorie Cycling, etc etc. (etc) I NEED to just follow your advice to track calories burned (which I am doing now with my Fitbit, sorry don't have an Apple Watch!) and track calories in (using Carb Manager) and keep protein high. That's it! And, stop making myself CRAZY! Keep bringing us these videos, you are a great reminder to us all to just simplify and stick with one, sane program!

I’m a fellow photographer, videographer, creative so I know how hard it is to just “sit” all day and get into some unhealthy habits, unfortunately. I get married in June so I was super stoked when I found your channel a couple of months ago. I'm 21 days in on my fitness journey and to be honest I considered quitting yesterday and the day before because even when I was fasting, I seemed to keep putting on belly fat. I now understand, I need to eat well and keep the calorie deficit to -500 calories. Thank you. It's a process, I'll focus on each day's workout more as opposed to trying to see the "bigger picture" everyday.

Thank you so much Bryan for all of this knowledge your sharing. Ive been eating alot better using my galaxy watch and samsung health app, and started lifting weights again a month ago. This week however I started your workout and what a huge difference so far after a few days. I have to admit i may be too steep on my caloric deficit so im going to eat a bit more calories, but im seeing great results so far and feel bigger. Thank you!

I been into fitness for over 5 years now, never have I replenished with electrolytes, what do you recommend ? Coconut water, electrolyte powders, I tried both I do not see a difference.

Any ideas on getting around my watch counting steps while I’m driving ? I work in a loader all day, and just wondering what people have done to avoid the steps counted from it , which I’m assuming adds to the calories burnt throughout the day . Thanks in advance. @@BryanAdamCastillo thanks for getting back to me Bryan So it’s the series 8. Thinking about getting one for awhile now , and finally pulled the pin and got it after seeing your reviews. I’m new to the watch, but love it so far . I’m trying to dial my calories , diet , and exercise right in as best I can . Using the my fitness pal as well . I’m not sure exactly yet how many calories expended it’s affecting during my day , but I know it is a substantial amount of steps throughout the day while in the machine . I’ve seen anywhere from 8000 to 13000 . I’m assuming it’s might throw my calculations off . Just thought someone may have come across this . Again, I’m new to the watch and the my fitness pal app , but like you , It motivates me to be able to try and dial it in as much as possible. Thanks again

make sure you’re eating enough! keeping the calorie deficit between 300-500/day is key!

in previous video, your electrolyte had 1000mg potassium, and you talked bout potassium a lot. isnt 200mg potassium too little?
