Great content, Mike. I've been on TikTok for while now but haven't experienced any growth or reasonable amount of traffic. So I've decided to start over again at zero with a brand new account. I'm also a creator on RU-vid, Facebook, & Instagram and so my question is this: Will repurposing my content by reposting it on other platforms (RU-vid shorts, Facebook Reels, etc.) hurt or have any kind of negative effect on the performance of my content on TikTok? There is no way to target an audience outside of your region that I know of (and doesn’t violate the ToS). Content is shown regionally on TikTok.

I created a new TikTok focusing on the main areas of content I want to make, I have done all the tricks you suggested and even did the SEO inside the post trick and the search bar is STILL saying find related content.

It doesn’t matter if it says “find related content” (the SEO trick doesn’t work either btw). Even if you get categorized by that search bar, a lot of times it just goes away after a week or so.

Hey mike, i saw a video the other day talking about doing the search terms and then put them on the video and minimize the size as small as possible and then moving it to the right side so its out of sight and that it can trick the algo to push the video out. What's your opinion on that?

It’s total BS. If it sounds like you’re gaming the system to get views instead of coming up with better ideas and improving viewer retention to get higher watch time then it’s probably not legit.

Trying to get my account going for my e-commerce business but I’ve had videos flagged on another failed account for low quality, I recorded on my iPhone XR and it’s decent quality so I’m not sure how I can get better picture quality without upgrading phone or getting a camera. Low quality in this context isn’t saying that your video quality is to low, it’s TikTok saying that they think the video is low effort or doesn’t add value to their viewers.

Hey Mike great tips ! Quick questions questions : 1) I recently started reposting on TikTok after about 3 years of being inconsistent, then I set most of the videos I wanted of my page to my eyes only so the public wouldn’t see cuz I didn’t feel like deleting them - now question is Was this bad ? 2) Also does it matter if wasn’t consistent before and now trying to be ? Like will the algorithm still push my account to users on the platform? 3) I don’t post everyday day but I try to post every 2 days (my own form of consistency) so is this bad ? And if I was to post everyday does a carousel photo post count as a post ? As opposed to only posting reels that way I know to alternate between my post Thank you !

My accounts been going ok but i experienced something odd on my most recent, it’s probably my highest quality video and it’s on 6k but in 24 hours? It’s still going up but very slowly.. It also has over 1k likes with only 6k views so I’m not sure why it’s going so slow.. debating deleting and trying to re-upload in a few days, any advice?

DO NOT DELETE IT! You should never delete videos. I talk about that in this video. It hurts your account and future videos. Not only does it make it harder for the algorithm to figure out who to show your content to so you can get more views and watch time, it also makes you look like a spammer to the algorithm which will kill your views. 6,000 views is great. The fact that it’s slowed down is totally normal. It’s TikTok, not RU-vid. The videos have a short lifespan. The grow for as long as they hit good watch time metrics. Once the watch time percentage starts to drop the views slow down or suddenly stop. That’s normal. And the likes do not matter. It’s all about watch time. So leave that video, it’s great. Now post more. Keep making videos and improving. If you’re getting 6k views on a video then you are going to get big views as long as you consistently post and improve every day.

I don’t recommend pictures. It’s a video app. TikTok also just announced their new app called TikTok Notes which is a pictures app to go against IG, so they really aren’t investing in the images feature on TikTok.

Watch the videos on this channel to learn how to improve. I’ve provide so many tips and guides to help. You might think you have good watch time, but 200 views means that it wasn’t more than what your competitors were getting so they got the views instead of you.

Depends on how quickly you’re able to grow a channel. I think YT is better for audience growth and selling coaching and digital products long term, but for most people it’s much harder to grow on than TikTok

I did this on a new account, I posted regular content and all of my videos get 0 views, i got shadowbanned for absolutely no reason, and for every account i create im shadowbanned on each one, tiktok just gets me 0 views on any video

If it’s just one video, no big deal. Just figure out what policy you violated so that you can avoid doing it again. Multiple videos with no views you need to create a new account.
