Howdy! Mike here, and welcome to my channel! This is the place to be for coaches and course creators looking for help on their journey from 0 to 7-figures as online business owners. make a video about tiktok shop, wouldn't it be useful for a business owner for then to be able to sell straight from tiktok without all of the friction of having to go to a different website in the same way youtubers would have links in their descriptions that would lead a viewer straight to a website?
I made a new account and I’ve posted once everyday for two weeks and only a couple of videos got 1000+ views. But mostly 200 views. Every video was about the same niche and used the same hashtags.😭 what do I do
I created my account a year ago first vid I ever posted hit 8k views, haven’t posted since. Should I create a new account or stick with this 1? Want to start using these tips
My best video got like 3M views (which was posted on 2023) and it was a great start for me. Recently I've been facing issues when posting my videos since I only get like below 1000 viewers and below 100 likes. Ive been using some trending hashtags, trends and sounds but nothing works. I also reduced my way of posting videos (since I've been posting a lot of videos recently) and post it on the right time but the outcome is still the same. I LITTERALLY HAVE LIKE 30K FOLLOWERS. I guess the algorithm hates me :))... Thanks though. I'll try 🙃
What should I do if I grew my acc to 20k, haven’t used the acc in about 2 years, came back to try and grow it more with the same content but it hasn’t been getting views like it once was?
Nope, that’s the way to do it if you want to do videos for multiple topics. It’s okay to have multiple accounts on your phone. I personally do with no issues. All that matters is that you aren’t using the same content on each account.
Question. So I know in order to be in the tik tok creators fund, you now need the video to be atleast 60 seconds long. Can I use shorter videos to get to the 10k mark?
100% I actually recommend a mix of short and long content. You just have to realize that the short content helps with growth but doesn’t make money. Only the 60 sec plus videos make money. But good to have both.
Hi Mike... Just found you & appreciate the info. I initially signed up for a TT Business account and recently passed the 10k threshold & was sent an invitation to join the Creator Rewards Program. It appears that I will need to switch from my Business to a Personal Account before I apply for that Creator Rewards Program? If that is the case, will switching from Business to Personal have an impact on the followers that I got as a Business Account? ie: Will I lose those followers? Thank You!!
Hey man, thanks for the amazing advice. Quick question I have a couple video ideas I know will be bangers. Should I put them out as my first couple videos I create my account or should I wait until I have some followers?
Create content around a specific niche so people are following you for you. Then you promote products that make sense for those viewers. If you just create content around products instead of creating a personal brand you’re going to struggle.
This all makes a lot of sense, I've done very well for myself on RU-vid and Twitch, but it seems like TikTok behaves completely differently and so the skillset I have doesn't necessarily translate, is there any advice you have for established creators that are new to TikTok specifically? Would love to chat sometime!
Oh yeah, it’s totally different. I have to plan content very differently for RU-vid vs TikTok. Biggest advice is content research for ideas, focus on your hook, and cut the fluff. Create a text headline and consider that your thumbnail. The goal is to stop the swipe vs getting the click on YT. Then focus on your hook. It’s similar to the first 30 sec to a minute in YT. You want to reduce the drop off. Beyond that it’s just great ideas and retention strategies like you use on YT. You can crush titkok with the RU-vid knowledge you already have as long as you realize it’s shorter and you’re stopping the scroll instead of earning the click.
What if you make the mistake of using Promote early on? I promoted some videos and am now seeing people say that TikTok represses views on non-promoted videos if you make that mistake. Can I recover from this?
I posted a video in the “viral video” topic and got over 100% average watch time, but it still got stuck, any idea why? do I need to improve something else?
Thank you for your amazing effort! However I want to share my experience. When I turned my account into business, I noticed that my views just decreased gradually. I thought tiktok did that to enforce me to pay for ads
Hi Mike! First off love all your videos, they’re all extremely helpful. I have a question I’m hoping you have time to get to. I want to start my account and optimize my fyp but I also want to make sure I have recorded content for a few weeks just to get started. How long is too long between creating the account and starting to post content? I hope that makes sense, again thanks for all your insight!
I don’t think it matters too much. I don’t think you need to make weeks of content before starting either. How will you know if the content you are creating is going to work if you don’t post and get real data and feedback? How will you know that the things that are working today will be working two weeks from now? Trends change, popular topics change. Better to just get started and figure it out as you go.
@@MikeYanda appreciate your response, this is exactly what my husband told me! lol I’m just too much of a planner, need to work on the execution part. Thanks!
By consistently posting about the same topic. You can also use hashtags to help send signals and optimize your FYP. Go watch my “how to grow on TikTok” for the step by step guide
some people says their video stuck not getting views then boom it got viral after 2-3 months is that working like this for tt too ? My videos get only 1k views and stops for experiment i copied someone s interesting title in my way thinking lets see but nope stuck again 😢
Hi, i have a question. Im a small creator and just for my first 2 viral videos. Should i not post other videos while one of my videos is popping? Its still getting alot of views and likes. I have a video Ready that i think could go viral aswell, but am scared its hard to Get 2 viral videos at the same time? True or no?
