GamingWitDaVibezzz the game went into overtime though; that’s a whole new ball game. Look at the finals series against the Lakers and Sixers in 2001. Sixers were heavy under dogs, but Iverson; their best player, willed them to a game 1 overtime win. If he can do that I know LeBron can. Yeah Smith and Hill made mistakes at a crucial point in the game; but they still had overtime. LeBron disappeared in OT; there’s no excuse for that.

sthao1 great so 1 game in each finals you can count on KD to lead? How about counting on him for the whole series? Why not ask the question, who would you rather have with a 3-1 lead? I understand that we swung back on KDs skill but he has never once shown that he can lead a team. Without KD the warriors were like a 92 out of a 100 and the Cavs were like 92 too. They just needed something to push them over the edge, so sure they “needed KD” but there are several players that could have pushed them over the edge. He’s wrong. Look at KD when he didn’t have Steph on the floor. He tried to be Lebron and dribble the ball up the court. He couldn’t do it efficiently and the warriors went like .500 Like you casual fans totally forget that he joined a complete stacked team already. It was already stacked before he came. Nah, I have to disagree. KD fit with that team because he's a pure shooter and can move and play off of the ball. That's not Bron's game. LeBron needs the ball to be at his best; that's part of the reason he was so defective in the Mavs series; with D-Wade orchestrating the offence, LeBron was lost out there.

Octavius 05 thats wasn’t head to head. KD guarded Lebron. Lebron didn’t guard KD, resting on defense. Miami had bosh at 5 and spread the court. OKC has Kendrick at 5 and Ibaka at the four, completely crowding the court on offense. KD was basically the only shooter on the team with Harden shooting bricks the whole series.

LBJ is the best at dominating a game when scoring is at a minimum However, with KD, scoring is not going to be at a minimum so that’s nothing you would be concerned with. He’s going to drop 30+, he’s going to hit shots from everywhere, he’s going to make about 90% of his free throws, he’s going to make 50+% of his shots

I'd take KD. Shannon, you say when the scoring is taken away. Well that's usually by being defended. But here is the thing, there isnt any taking away scoring from KD. It's no other player in league history that was completely unstoppable other than KD. He literally has no weakness. And those legendary shots he has with those dagger 3's was just his will on the basketball. You cant guard that. And it's not like KD cant facilitate. Hes done it. And hes an elite defender with shot blocking. Plus hes clutch, I'm talking free throws as well. So if I need any dude on my team, its KD cause I'd trust his abilities above anyone else.

@fully up for me, I think as players MJ and Kobe are as good as anybody. But when talking about an unstoppable force, I can only put KD, Kareem, and Wilt Chamberlain in that catagory. But because KD is 7 foot and can be a risk anywhere in front of the half court line, I think it makes him the most unstoppable force in NBA history. Not only the half court thing, hes the greatest mid range shooter we have ever seen. He went 72% shooting in a game by hitting nothing but mid range shots. While having one of the best post up games. It's impossible to stop that when you add guard handling abilities. Nobody else in NBA history had an arsenal like that.

Troy Gordley no, Michael had no chance of winning DPoY in 94&95. Hakeem had those on lock. Hakeem was averaging almost 5 blocks a game those years while leading his team to the best defense in the league. The bulls had no answer for big men in 94 or 95, which is why they lost to the Knicks in 94 and the Orlando Magic in 95. They would have gotten smoked by Hakeem in either finals. He won back to back chips for a reason because he’s the most skilled center of all time. MJ dodged Hakeem
