Curry’s 72 3-pointers are the most ever in a 10-game stretch and he has six games of 10 or more made 3-pointers his season. @@somregularguyI mean take the group stage Champions league in futbol. A lot of players get away with doing good in the round of 16 to the final. But in those group stages you Need to win to get out and qualify to the knockout stages. So that means many great players in basketball also had support in the regular season to catapult them to the playoffs.. the ENTIRE SEASON should count. Maybe if you already qualified and you can play bench players those LAST GAMES it won’t matter but for the most part, you have to keep winning before the playoffs to be in a good spot.. just my opinion tbh

Steph is absolutely a top 20 all-time great. - He has led the league in steals -Greatest shooter in league history -Almost single-handedly revolutionized the game -2 time scoring champ -3 time champ -7 all-NBA selections In the playoffs: 26.5 ppg, 45% shooting, 40% from three, 91% ft, 5.5 assists and 1.5 steals. Those number are completely on par with, or better than, Kobe Bryant and Lebron James, but Skip isn’t impressed. Even more ridiculous Skip talks about Steph’s struggles in 2016, and holds it against him, without doing the same with Lebron’s 2011 finals performance. How about Magic Johnson’s “Tragic Johnson” performance in 1984? Kobe’s stinker in 2004?

In the 2018-2019 Finals - Which the Warriors lost to the Raptors, Steph Curry averaged more than 30 points per game. The only point guard to average more points in the Finals is Jerry West. That's it. West owns the top 4 spots and then it's Curry. Skip is just a hater.

Harden also gets way more rebounds, assists and draws more fouls than Steph. There's more to the game than simply FG%. Harden was definitely too ball dominant in Houston but this season he's been an absolute beast.

So Steph averages about the same numbers as Harden in those categories even though he's two inches shorter and has a smaller build. Check the stats before commenting next time.

@@Circlek20 He averaged 31 mpg in his final season in OKC, and 4 rpg and 4 apg. Then in his next two seasons in Houston, he averaged 5 rpg and 6 apg. So not much different numbers than Curry. And during his 8 seasons in Houston, he only shot better than 44% from the field in one . So overall, Curry is a more accurate shooter and his rebounding and assist numbers aren't much lower than Harden's. Also, he's won 3 championships. If I was a GM or coach,. I'd take Curry over Harden on my team any day.

Lots of great players shooting percentages go way down on the Finals. For instance, kobe was usually around 40%. It's like an entirely different sport the way it is called with players playing very physical and refs holding back. Steph still a big factor in every championship because teams have to worry about him so much and he tires out defenders.

Skip knows better. Curry will always hit 40-45% of his 3s in a 1000-shot sample, and he'll always be either 0% or 100% in a 1-shot sample, and will be between 60% and 20% in a 40-shot sample. 3-point shots aren't like, say, turning a door knob or chopping wood. EVERY player is going to hit his long-term average over the long-term, but vary wildly over the short term. That's just the nature of it, and, heck, it's precisely WHY Sir Charles initially said that jump shooting teams were unlikely to win championships: jump shots USUALLY miss. Just to be clear: what it means to be the greatest shooter of all time-- and it doesn't even matter whether you think it's Steph or someone else-- is that you're going to miss more 3-pointers than you make. Steph had a shot at immortal goat status in 2016. He choked HARD in Game 7 at Oracle. He basically said, "Here, LeBron, you take the chip" in that 4th quarter. The ship sailed on top 10. I'd put Steph between 15-20. He's the best shooter ever with top 5 handles and maybe the most underrated passer ever, but he's a choke artist when it matters and a mediocre defender. Kyrie is better than Steph when it matters.

Curry without KD has lead the warriors to 67 wins and 73 wins in b2b seasons in a tough conference (with regular season MVPs to show for it), 2 finals appearances, and a championship. Injuries were a huge part of that 2015 championship, but lets not act like getting through the western conference is just a cake walk. Plus, in the 2019 playoffs when KD was injured, Curry finished off the Rockets and swept the Blazers for another finals appearance. You notice how the first thing KD does after leaving Curry is team up with another MVP in James Harden with another generation talent in Kyrie Irving backing them. He knows as well as anyone that making the finals and winning a Championship is more than a one man job.
