I'd say the amount of exposure in the current days would amass a lot of likeness towards the manga as well as a lot of controversy (like always), so it might just equal out and have similar general view. Though, being a newer and more niche title, it could also be in the top list of "elite readers" or just be another JJK.
I think naruto would have sucess, because of the themes,the way it creates hype to a lot of carathers, heavy emotional scenes and the fights overall. All factors that generally help the new gen series
@diosbizarreadventure7383 naruto only talks to villains that are similar to him. Everytime he relates to someone "evil" he thinks of how he could've gone rouge too because he had the kyuubi and was hated by everyone. So he wants them to know they can be loved too. But if he can't relate to them he'll just beat them up and even go for murder.
Well technically if naruto gets a remake we could see how popular it would be this time around, especially since for the past few years naruto has been going downhill and your starting tonsee more people hate it, and then theres people who cant watch a anime with bad animation or the old animation ruins the show for them
