What crimes would Randall (Monsters Inc), Waternoose (Monsters Inc), Chef Skinner (Ratatouille) and Syndrome (The Incredibles) be charged with?
A video examining what would Pixar villains be charged with if they were to be in court. This is a remake of my first video fixing errors and making it in my new format.

I’ve always held that Syndrome is the darkest Pixar villain, but seeing the actual list of his crimes and sentences make him so much worse. The fact he did all these things because Mr Incredible told him he didn’t want his help.

Regarding Syndrome: I'm pretty sure the Omnidroid would be considered a weapon of mass destruction and its unauthorised development and creation would in itself carry very heavy penalties. Its potential destructive capabilities are similar to that of a small fleet of tanks, or a few fully armed attack helicopters, not to mention its extreme mobility (short range flight?!). It's directly shown to be impervious to most conventional explosives. The first one Mr Incredible destroys literally survived BEING SUBMERGED IN MAGMA. Mr.Inc was trespassing, and has the kind of super strength that required that elaborate contraption to restrain him. @@bodaciouschad The problem with the trespassing argument is Syndrome lured Mr. Incredible to the island under false pretenses. And it's an island, so leaving wasn't an option; he was stuck there against his will. As for jurisdiction, there are no naturally occurring islands that are unclaimed territory. And I don't believe the island is artificial or newly formed, based on the heavy vegetation and some geological structures that would require a lot of time to form. My best guess is it's U.S. territory, since it would be quite difficult to pose as a government agency for one country while being considered the territory of another.

Based on what I can find for the Skinner part, it could be considered Inheritance Hijacking and/or Inheritance Theft. Since Linguini was to inherit the company due to it being left in the will, and Skinner not telling him about it, let alone informing him of being Gusteau’ son, it will vary depending on laws and country. However, since Skinner did this purposely, it may also count as Theft of company. Even though I couldn’t find the penalty for this, my guess logically, Skinner would be forced to surrender the company to Linguini and pay damages.

I'm confused about Skinner. - He didn't stole the Vespa from a random citizen, he toke it aggressively from someone he known. When you steal something, the owner consider it lost. - Following someone just once (without contact, or intimidation) can't be considered "stalking" enough to automatically get YEARS. - Trespassing? Wasn't that his own restaurant? Did they already made an official restriction that prevented him to step foot on it? He could always lie and claim he saw a bunch of rats running into it and just checked.
@roseolivas08
@roseolivas08 Год назад
Stealing something from someone you know is still stealing, how is that confusing It was obvious that skinner was stalking linguini for weeks, so that isn't "just once" and stalking is still a crime no matter what He was pretending to be someone else to get into the restaurant, that is 100% trespassing
@BETMARKonTube
@BETMARKonTube Год назад
@@roseolivas08 Of course stealing from someone you know is still stealing. But I don't think he stole it. The victim knows him, he can't just run away and "keep it". He acted like an A.H., but either he was going to return it, or pay back the guy who can kill a man with a thumb. And about the trespassing, I don't recall someone ever made a restriction. He wasn't the owner anymore, but they had no reason to keep him out. Still, if I missed something, I don't care to be proven wrong. I like to share opinions and understand better other points of view.

@imfsresidentotaku9699 Год назад
@@BETMARKonTube When it was found that the restaurant wasn't his property, he was kicked out and later beaten for trespassing on restaurant grounds, so this suggests that there was a restriction placed on him. In regard to Chef Skinner's keeping the truth about Linguine hidden, one could argue he's attempting to defraud the rightful owner of the restaurant by concealing said truth.
