as a christian, yes and no; I do think critically by accepting the fact that you don’t believe in these stories therefore not believing in God. But for me it’s a no because those details aren’t enough to negate the existence of God, plus faith is really unrelated to the literal meaning of anything. even foreskin has its diverse interpretations like that God wanted his Jew worshippers to be clean and to give a sacrifice (that’s the only way their brain could work at that time) but after Christ’s birth the spiritual meaning went more to the purification of the soul… But anyways, since you’re not gonna believe in any of this it’s fine, at the end of the day, there are thousands of interpretations for every single verse in the Bible which makes a person think that there’s something wrong like why isn’t it just clear. I’ve been reading atheistic arguments on God that seem convincing but I’ve looked at humanity, creation, the cosmos, and the complexity of the human body. I also have been looking at love differently. The way woman and man are attracted to each other makes it hard to believe evolution did it. One night it was racing hard and a tall figure in white appeared and was praying towards the picture of Jesus in my room, he said something like “please don’t let him die from a heart attack”, then soon after he disappeared and I heard the audible voice of God tell me some stuff then that voice stopped then I felt my body being lifted and life being pumped back into my heart and I was healed thank God, Jesus is God and He is very loving and a miracle worker.
