I am broke right now due to my actions before , a lot debt which couldn't make me sleep. It's very frustrating. But I have the faith that it'll get better . I think it's the simple changes that I have to make .
I needed this cause the past few months I’ve been so stressed trying to save the money to get my teeth fixed. It’s taking over my life 😢 any tips what I should do ?
My advice: You need to consciously and purposefully budget. Trying to safe money is like trying to loose weight. No matter how enthusiastic you are about the idea, it ain't going to happen without careful planning. You just can't rely on self discipline alone, to carry you through. Sit down and make a list about all your expenses and see how much money you actually have to spent, when all the monthly bills are paid. Set fixed budgets for groceries and clothes and fun activities and make it a challenge to stick to them. Make sure, saving money is actually within your means right now. There's no point beating yourself up, if your income realistically won't allow saving up. Weigh the importance of better teeth against other possibly not strictly necessary expenses. Are you buying coffee to go, for example? If yes...get a thermos and save those bucks. Always take a water bottle with you, when leaving the house. Buy second hand. Stuff like that. Really pay attention to what you're spending money on. The money is either there or it's not and you have to find out, which one it is. And if it's not, you either have to resign yourself to that fact or find a way to generate more money.
Those of us who are preppers have already mitigated inflation and shortages by prepping for all aspects of life, for self, pets and adult family. Having sufficient for the long term, brings a feeling of confidence and security. Besides stashing food, growing a fruits and veggies or having a DIY hydroponic set-up can be very productive as is learning new skills and being focused on fitness. Even those of us who live on fixed incomes can do this by living frugally. Live simply, so that others can simply live!
What triggers me is that thinking about money, all money things (bookkeping etc.) take so much time from other life. I feel that I live only for to get some pennies.
