Naw man…you can’t build up a story like he just did and then say the king has one more move. Like, what?? That cheapens the whole story. That’s like throwing spaghetti on the wall and hoping something sticks. You can’t just throw out “the king has one more move” when you’re referencing Jesus! That sounds like a cop out. It sounded like the guy didn’t know how to tie it all in so he came up with that. Such a great opportunity to really hit home something amazing, but he missed the mark. There’s a deeper meaning. I know the enemy is a master deceiver and idk for sure, but it looks like he has convinced the chess player that he’s lost. Just like when we’re messing up and the enemy comes in whispering in our ear that we’re a loser and God doesn’t love us and no one loves us. Instead of repenting, we believe the lies of the enemy and go further into our sin. Just like the chess player in the picture he thinks he’s lost and is getting ready to give his soul to the devil. Yes, there may be a King still on the board, but he’s not seeing it. So what does it matter if he can’t see it? The devil is still going to deceive him and take his soul. Idk- I just think there’s more to it then some cheesy religious cliche.

Precisely God is the greatest aspect of everything positive so when you think about strategists there are some amazing strategists in this world but God is the best I just think the implications are very interesting world class chess player looks at a picture of a chess board in my mind he sees a chance of victory that the average player did not see
