Man I'm still impressed of how people is complaining about a character without (almost) any of the cons of Calcharo, with one of the most easiest kits of the whole game, with The World (the slowmotion from his ult) and anti-interruption *as a talent* I love your work bringing to light underestimated characters by the community. Many playes really don't want to improve their gameplay lol
My only gripe with him is his intro skill, i keep having the issue of it landing weirdly against certain enemies, like the inferno rider. Aside from that, bro is awesome.
Cause some people want a char. that has no fault,no downtime etc for unga bunga combat. Might as well remove the complicated animation overall and just put the Ora ora punch animation lel.
@enriquearrieta4206 yeah its not a problem like 80-90% of the time, but when it does, it's really annoying. But thats like the only issue ive got with him, hes so fun.

2:53 you have no idea how many times this ONE particular thing has happened to me especially with Aix. Great tip on the cancel and breakdown, i didnt spend alot of time breaking him down yet but you did a pretty good job clearing up anything i might have not thought of or overlooked.
@@naniwatiger2450 Yes. Go with double electro only if you are running a 5 star weapon on lingering tunes. For void thunder, go with atk and electro bonus if you have his weapon. If you are using any 5 star weapon, go with double electro. So as a general rule, whenever you have a character’s signature weapon, always got with attack and elemental damage bonus when using the elemental sets like freezing frost and void thunder because of diminishing returns
I am missing diagrams and separation of each what on what to do, I still don't understand what I can cancel and what not. More visualization and examples needed =( The only thing I understood that I can use skill whenever it is up.

8:29 incorrect information. you can builds 5 stacks instantly by tap basic 1, hold basic. the attack string will build 5 stacks on the laser shot and has s.
@@oblongquestion I don’t get what you mean. Holding his basic attack will make him perform the 1st and 2nd basic attack sequence which is the same as mashing the basic attack button. Pressing the basic attack and holding it does not make him restart the basic attack sequence if that’s what you meant so there’s no benefit in doing that.
@@itssenpai626 i havent quite got the tech, but after q burst i tap basic once, then hold basic. this puts yao in the animation of square then laser. on the laser hitting, i have 5 stacks
@@Gyrus1 sure. I have a weird settings though. R1 for attack, R2 for dash, L1 + X for echo skill, X for echo skill, Y for ultimate, X to jump, O for pickup, arrow keys for switching.

@@itssenpai626 so far no luck, I tried the recommendations of cancelling after hearing the landing sound but no luck. I also just tried timing the dash upon seeing the my character figure hitting the ground and close to hitting the ground but no luck. Guess mobile players are locked out of this ":(
12:50 wait what ? i'm pretty sure that u just have to cast the echo to trigger the bonus dmg, and it buffs electro damage and heavy attacks damage by 12%..maybe french version has a translade issue or that's english ver ?
@@david_ace there’s a translation error with void thunder. To get the 30% electro damage, you need to cast skill and heavy attack. That’s why i recommended the skill cancel tech to get around that issue

I really don't know rather to pull his Sig or wait for stringmaster yinlin's sig or not im like 20 off (his crit DMG is 223 or something close without the last 2 crit DMG upgrades and like 53 cr if so would it be okay on yinlin if he doesn't use it and if so would it be worth it?)
A main dps like Xiangli Yao benefits way more from a signature weapon than a subdps like Yinlin. In his Yinlin team, he is doing 50k dps while she is doing 8k dps. But Yinlin's weapon is good on way more meta characters. If you also need a weapon for Encore, then go for Stringmaster. If you just want his team to do the most damage, get his weapon, its not even close.
okay so I changed my gear around and got more crit rate as well and used Furina by freeing her up on earlier floors and ended up beating the boss no problem.
@@yinlinakacrush oh okay. Stick with yinlin if you have her. There’s no need to get Zhezhi specifically for Jinshi because you can still do big damage if your echoes and weapons are cracked

If I only had Verity, I would get better clear times, but being able to clear with Stonard comfortably like this, I don't think I have to.
The moment They Switch Tower Buff that has been for last 4 weeks ! 50 % attack and 30 % Electro it will sad day for Yao Players ! He is Free Unit but His Damage Scaling its not ! You need his weapon and Yinlin ! For Aother 100 % Damage Boost ! In FTP Eyes he has to be the weakest unit Released ! He is Below some mid 4 stars in terms of % Damage !
