When i got rejected almost a year ago, i started to self improve, but in a toxic way (at the time i was brainwashed by Hamza). These first few months of self improvement were good for me, but also bad in a way. On one hand, it helped me heal from not just my crush, but also the feelings of loneliness and insecurities i used to have for quite a while. On the other hand, i was trying too hard to escape myself, and it ended up almost costing my relationships. The verdict for you, is that self improvement can be really helpful to deal with a rejection or breakup, but remember to not scold yourself for that rejection. Just want to say I am also in a very similar space as you. I'm going to be 29 in March and like you have never been on a date, had a girlfriend or even kissed a girl. I also get depressed about it and thoughts about wanting a relationship but questioning if I am good enough, fun enough, interesting enough to deserve one. I have tried talking to a few girls, asked friends about girls I been interested and if they are single... all in relationships.... one friend said I should try tinder and I have gotten matches but not a single one has ever responded back... this has all happened in 2023... I am trying but it just feels like a constant roller-coaster of emotions for me... feel like I could keep going about my feelings, but I am going to stop myself for now...
