I think Kci really did this song justice and showed much respect to Bobby Womack. Bobby Womack gave him his blessing too.

I love them both. Having said that, I heard K'Ci's first back in 1994 though I grew up on Old School music. When I Heard Bobby's, I got the same sentiment of pure emotion out of the song. Of course I lean more towards K-Ci, but both are definitely classics.

Classic dude range was crazy love K-ci during Jodeci era then went to a duo since K-ci & JoJo this was off of the soundtrack on Jason’s Lyrics in 94

I prefer Bobby Womacks version. he's was more of a story teller with emotion like he's in church preaching. Bobby did write this song btw.

Both hit it out the park...Bobby buttery smooth, no overkill and effortless. K-Ci: the emotional tidal wave as usual. As a storyteller Bobby took it, maybe, but the girl would take back K-Ci.

When Bobby sang this,he blew off hats, but when KCi did it, he was straight snatching edge's lol. I believe Sisqo could have done a good job covering this song as well😁

I enjoy them both!❤🫡👏 Both of them are really gifted singers! I love the youthful raw emotional singing style of K-Ci's exceptional cover. And, I love Bobby's weathered vocals and classic old-school soulful storytelling.

K-Ci wo Bobby Womack out. It was eating time. Bobby did testify and tell the story better. But K-Ci sang and performed it better vocally.

Just come across your channel as I absolutely lv kci saw jodeci live and WOWWWW they was fantastic. I've not come across anyone doing reactions to him. I think if I remember rightly Bobbie is his uncle. An sisqo said on his album a bug thankyou for kci & Keith sweat for there voices which has made him feel comfortable with his Great reaction. I've not gone through all your videos so not sure if you've done kcis version of Tears in Heaven 😊

Bobby’s version is much better to me. K-Ci sung the song like he sang every song. Lol It wasn’t anything that made it pop. If you hear him sing once, you’ve heard him a million times in my opinion.

These 2 aren't even in the same ballpark. Bobby's voice is so buttery smooth, and it flows through the notes naturally. You can hear the hurt and emotions in his voice. Kc sounds so forced. The song is singing him. Whereas Bobby is feeling that song!

The original is better. K-ci just copied everything from Bobby. They sound similar but Bobby was the original.

K-Ci's version doesn't flow like Bobby's...K-Ci had to take out Bobby's reason for not being at home. I like K-Ci's voice better, but i prefer Bobby's version.
