In the end, a true friend with whom you have history is going to trump a new sexual partner. And, once that relationship deepens, it's possible to care about both without somehow jilting one. We had a great relationship for about a year and after that she was giving me all the tests and signs that women do. Pulling away just doing things to see how I react.
