First I installed the same wheels after watching your video to make sure they actually fit, now it's the JB4 :) Funnily I came across your video while searching for what the blue wire is supposed to do, since I have a cutoff of it. :) Great videos mate!
Really great content. I found out about these little(ish) cars from your 1st video (via the OG Fred video with you getting mentioned) Anyways, because of your series I went on a quest to get one but the available JCW supply seemed to be dwindling. Looking nationwide there seemed to be only a couple new JCWs on the east coast. Luck would have it I was able to pick up locally here in CA a 24 JCW Icon trim with 3k miles from a Toyota dealer of all places. Same interior as you, midnight black body and red roof. Gonna be a lot of work keeping that black paint looking OG spec, but will be fun. Also, you seem to be the only US source of info about the JCW Clubman on RU-vid, so good luck on yours and hope to see more updates.
Here in the north east we have a lot of Sunoco gas stations with 93 octane. So I should be able to run map 3 correct. I always put 93 octane in anyway. I have a 2017 F56 JCW. Great video excellent instructions thinking of just using the BC button to map mine.
Yea you should be good with map 3 on 93. You can log when you switch to it and upload to the forums and they will give you feedback. The bc button works but you won’t get logging
Love the video. Been waiting for it for a while. On my 24 clubman I have the eveunturi intake and it’s the best. With the intake and metal charge and boost pipes the clubman will flutter for days. I would also look into Remus exhaust I have the gpf delete catback system sounds great but definitely wouldn’t be incognito anymore. When you bought your Jb4 I’m assuming you clicked on the cooper 2019+ jcw version on their website. Right. I’m gonna get it for mine real soon here. Thanks for the video keep up the great videos.
@@improvedgarage not from what I looked at plus I wanted the hood scoop to actually be functional. You could get it painted or wrapped if you really want it to match. The Dinan exhaust seems good if you want just a little extra. Can’t wait to see what you pick.
Came here to say this, bought the eventuri myself and love it and also the dinan resonator pipe. I understand the issue having the carbon scoop but only the full carbon one fits our cars. I was also advised against the dinan exhaust and directed to the Remus. I’ll be getting the Remus when I can afford it lol.
@@brandonmiller1390 let me know what you think of the remus. Im going to look into wrapping or painting the scoop, also i talked to dinan and they are working on an intake for our cars. no ETA at this time though
What is the ODB2 plug doing for the kit? Is that just for the app to show values? I am wondering if you can unplug it and use other things without messing something up.
@@turk1998 from what im reading on the forums 91 with E20 should work. I think you would want to test it, log and upload your logs so they could look at it to be safe
