These foreign tourists THINK they have all PRIVILEGES to do what ever they want... they would not dare do this to THEIR OWN SOLDIER'S IN THEIR COUNTRY.. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR 😠
No need to go far It’s called being ignorant and not having proper manners. This is tourists Can’t help with the elders, they’re acting like children. God bless and save the Horse Guards 🇬🇧🟥👑💂
I keep telling people this. If someone were to behave like that in their own country towards one of their officers, they would be the first to open their mouths.
The guard didn't say a word. He can get his message across without shouting. A good firm stare helps too. I think these bad behaviors are getting worse in 2024.
What is the matter with these rude and ignorant people. Why did he think he was allowed to touch the sword or the guard? Bravo to that guard for not shouting, the look and the get off did the job. This is yet another reason why these total idiots should never ever be allowed near the guards and horses.😡
Touching the guard is assault. Plain and simple. How dare people think it is ok to touch someone like that in any situation but definitely when performing professional duties. Loved the bit near the beginning when both guards looked towards the little girls having their photo taken
@11;31 He really thought that he was getting away with something. He made a fool out of himself. Looked odd or queer. No respect for himself or anyone else. It's always them.
First time I've seen a tourist in one of these videos say ''thank you very much'' to the guards. This is how everyone who has the privilege of posing with the guards, should act
Imagine he would touch the gun of a police man. It’s exactly the same. He’d get immediately arrested. They NEED to arrest someone for doing this stupid things. Just to show they’re SERIOUS and deserve to be respected
What a disrespectful horrible little toad 😡😡😡 Something really needs to be done to protect the dignity of our Kings Guards! Tourists are getting WAY TO CLOSE to the Kings Guard’s and their horses. What if that little laughing toad had a weapon! Please, Please, protect our Kings Guards and their horses, tourists NEED to be behind barriers, photo opportunities can be arranged with their tour guide! I am totally upset and bewildered at how this is allowed to continue 😢😢😢
A lot of the tourist guides allow this behavior. As long as I have been watching these videos I've only seen I guide tell the group that was with him that these horse and guards were actually working and were real soldiers. 😡🤬😡🤬👍❤️📹😃
I think the issue is they do draw tourism. And tourist spend a lot of money over in that country. I'm sure someone in higher places have given thought to this. I'm sure they are trained what to tolerate . They seem to enjoy working with kids. That's an honorable thing. Maybe you shouldn't allow yourself to be as tore up about it worse than they are. I'm sure they can take care of themselves .

That's because they look like props to tourists who's military and local police are all dressed in riot/swat gear. So they don't take these soldiers seriously as they don't look threatening at all.
The tourists have no idea how highly trained these Guards are, they may look young, but their training is intense.. The Horses too, once they join the Horse Guards, they go through 10 months of continuous training, and able to cope with all things that would normally be strange to ordinary people and horses., You cannot compare the two. They have to put up with noisy crowds, sudden noises , music, loud bangs and all things they are likely to come across in parades etc., Of course at times unusual circumstances happen and a horse might kick up and refuse to behave, but they all have different personalities and show off from time to time, but they have a lot to put up with, so hence months and months of rigourous training. They all need our respect.. these are regular serving soldiers on Royal Guards duty.
What an interesting thought! Of course! A sword means nothing as a weapon to people today. If they had rifles, it would make a totally different image.
That was very nice those guys posed for those two kids. They aren't Disney characters and I wouldn't want to be on the bad side of one of those guys. Its sad how people go on with them. They are sort of equivalent to the tomb guards in the states . you wouldn't treat one of those guys that way. People are clueless . these guys are hardened warriors. People don't realize it. .
the boy on the left looked like he had down syndrome which would be why they posed for them. the guards pick up on special needs and disabled and are extra nice and helpful. I do wonder if its because they are aware that one of the guards at Buckingham Palace has a brother with down syndrome and that has made them more aware.
If they have armed police guard in the fair way where the card is...why not have a armed police guard at each guard box in front...night now help keep the people from being so rude but yet...that guard on the horse should yell at the people too to get back..
@@shirleyanneyoung955 i didn't mean it came from him to the guards directly, it would have gone through other people to reach them. you can either believe he said it or not up to you.
@@k1896 Yeah, I’ll continue to disbelieve it. Charles would consider something like this to be below him. In fact, he wouldn’t consider it at all and why would he, he gets his money regardless.
firstly thanks for video. Always a good one. What id like to say is.... Forget the idiot. ..... What a lovely video throughout with the guards putting the public first. The guards who let those children have a once in a life time photo stood out more to me than the ideot. Brilliant is not a strong enough word for them. c Hereford England.
There's the difference folks. A respectful citizen helping a trooper place a heavy sign, so that people can read the rules, and an absolute moronic, entitled, "visitor", who can't stop manhandling a working guard.
I'm an American and it makes me absolutely sick to see what these tourists are allowed to do to elite soldiers and battle horses still on duty. Treating the horse like its a puppy in a pet store. Maybe they should train all the horses to bite.
It keeps baffling me that the majority of those foreign tourists think that the Horse Guard is a tourist attraction and can be treated just like the figures in Disneyland. Disrespectful in the most terrible way... I for one am all for a parameter around these guards with fences and do not let the IGNORANT STUPID people touch the horses or in this case the guard himself. Watch but do not touch!!!!!
The problem is with Tourists especially a certain race, when having a picture taken they always need to do something with their hands, No idea why, they pose giving thumbs up or the v sign, the heart with their fingers etc or have the need to touch someone or something in most cases it's the horse or the reigns. Most Tourists don't know these men are Soldiers on Duty, which is NO excuse for doing what he did, they are very ignorant of others culture, people really need to do their research before going to these places, if you asked 100 tourist in a day if they understand anything about the Guards being Soldiers or even the Horses or what you can or cannot do, i would say 90% would not have a damn clue. I know one thing if that man had done that in his country, he would have been arrested. Respect of others cultures and History is lacking in many people. Even after being told off, he still touched the Guard. Do your research people please. Maybe learning a little English might also help.
I think they should add more to the sign: Do not take the guard's sword. Do not touch the guard's clothing, below the clothing or his shoes. Do not make fun of the guard - being a human being, he has feelings too. Do not spit at the guard. Do not feed your babies to the horse. I think that unless this is spelled out, anything is allowed. I have more to list but I don't want to get banned from yt due to usage of ad hominem.
@@fayesylvester435 Why should they add more to the sign, People should use their brains and think, would i do that in my country? No i wouldn't, so why do it here. Come on, People just so rude, self-absorbed and brain dead these days. Nothing on that sign needs to change except maybe "You will be yelled at by the Guard if you touch Me or the Reigns"
@@k1896 I am just thinking about it for fun. God knows if I could ever go to London to visit the King's guards, let alone pay all my ever-increasing bills. I don't think they will listen to me. We are on the same side in this. You know what I'm thinking too is that the tour guides tell the tourists that if they get yelled at, they will end up in RU-vid and they will have their 15-minutes of fame. I firmly believe that this is their aim in going to this place.
@@fayesylvester435 I agree, I don't think the Tourist guides explain enough to them. I've heard them in other videos tell them it's okay to touch the Horse (which it is) but maybe they should be telling them not to touch the Horse.
I could see that soldier thinking. Oh crap I cant reach that. And the nice tall lady wanting to help but she wasnt strong enough. I bet someone got a little tongue lashing for that.
She may be new to this duty at Horseguards. I don't remember seeing any female guards who are as short in height, like me. Could be her welcome to the post initiation. She seemed rather amused but someone will get a bit of a toungelashing. 😂
I don’t think she’s ever done stable duties thus far. She’ll get it, it’s just a matter of figuring out HOW to do it, and I think she was kinda “put on the spot” there. There are several male troopers who aren’t much if any taller than her who hang the signs regularly. Like anything, it’s technique and experience.
Now i don't care what language he spoke, he knew that was wrong! Where do these people get off thinking they have the right to touch and grab the Guards like that? That should be grounds forr arrest, especially since they always think it is so funny!
The sheer stupidity of some people blows the mind. The person placed the 2 kids in front of the horse just for a picture. Some people should not reproduce.
It was great to see the two gaurds graciously pose for the two boys so they can get a picture at a respectful distance. I agree some of the tourists are rude and disrespectful.

It’s okay if you want to touch the horse if you already had experience with them (Horseback riding). Otherwise do not Lucky children. Getting picture with 2 Horse Guards 3:17 What The Bloody hell he thinks he is 11:45
