They do, they are working Soldiers. But this particular guard is very patient and quiet when he speaks. Some of the guards choose to be loud when they tell off a tourist but not this guard. I guess he didn't feel there was an issue enough that warranted him to speak up.
The horse is very tolerant of the humans who are so vain they think.their mugshots can match the horse.NOT A CHANCE their hands are crawling all over him they should Look but not TOUCH
How selfish. I mean really, does she NOT see others waiting. UGH. Glad it wasn’t me waiting for a photo op, she would have gotten her feelings hurt. 😡😡😡😡
The tourist continously annoy these poor horses. They grab and paw at them. They dont stop even when the horse is clearly getting agitated. They dont obey the sign or listen to the guard. They are disrespectful and should be ashamed if their behavior.
Is that gentleman waiting to take a photo? Lady get lost and leave the horse alone. Also note how the horses mood has changed after all her manhandling. I’m sorry, they should stop people from touching the horses, and photos taken at a safe distance. How annoying.🤬🤬
Some people are so wrapped up in their own self-entitlement they don’t consider others…. She should have been asked to move away. People just being polite to her yet she is indulging herself.
I wish they would leave their faces alone hands coming towards their eyes, nose so irritating how would they like that done to their face.People are so stupid makes me mad!
Yes people seem to think a nose is put there for them to get acquainted with an animal. I had a very friendly Leonberger dog that children always wanted to pet which was fine but they always went for her nose. If the parent didn't correct the child I would tell the child that my dog really loved having her shoulder or back petted as opposed to her nose. I often wonder how these people sticking their hands in the horses faces would like a horse to walk up to them and run their hoof up and down their face.
I wonder if she is related to that karen who had the pink head scarf a few months ago kept coming around an annoying the kings guard horses every day. Until they told her leave & not to come back.
Everybody's hands are nasty. Stop touching. Scratching. Rubbing. Just stop it. Dude. Don't argue. All yall get your asses back. Back the hell up.! You know what's happening!
Shocking? Unfortunately, no. Super cringe? Absolutely! She looked like an octopus, with hands all over this horse! I thought the guard may be next. The horse's ears went back several times. Hint? Leave me alone! Ears back = Get back! He flung his head up trying to get free of her. Having a horse nuzzle your flat palm doesn't show that a horse likes you, but that he thinks you have a treat for him! People need to keep their grungy hands off of these working horses! It's gotten completely out of control. The guard said she could pet the horse, not maul it. 😒
I can clearly remember shouting at her To leave the horse alone. The rest of her party were encouraging her to stay for more and more photos. Look at her face when someone took over from her. She was horrified.
What a wonderful example for the children in the crowd! I don't have to behave, why should you! She would be the first one to cry about being hurt if the horse bit her! In some ways, this is animal abuse!
That one tourist was sooo patient waiting while that woman gave the horse a full massage. Only photos being taken should be allowed. All this stroking, patting, scratching the horse, usually in the same place, the nose area, would be agitating. I'm sure each person's hand has a different smell also.
They should put up a notice telling people to keep their kids a safe distance from the horse. The amount of parents shoving their kids right up to the horse is shameful !!
I'm convinced that she actually thought that those with their camera's ready were taking photos of her and how amazed they were that the horse loved her so much, Delusional is the word that springs to mind...
Okay, so i see a lot of negatives in the comment. This was actually one of the most respectful videos of tourist/horse interaction I have watched. Firstly, she kept a respectful distance at all times. She then asked permission of the guard to touch the horse. The guard nodded and then she approached. She was respectful and gave gentle scratches to the horse's neck, chest, and even the especially itchy spot on the ears. The horse stood tall when she scratched his chest, meaning it felt good, like when someone scratches your back and you stretch out a little more. The ears get very itchy by the bridle and forlock. The other respectful thing she did was when the horse started to toss his head she understood that he had appreciated the scratches but was ready to go back to work. This lady has clearly spent a lot of time socializing with horses and understood this horse's body language. Also props to her for being respectful and asking permission before she touched. I applaud her. Thank you, for being respectful, asking permission, treating the horse with dignity and compassion, and for understanding when it was time to let the horse be. She did absolutely nothing wrong.
If she had of done something wrong, the guard would have been the first one to say something to reprimand her. I'm not understanding why this video has received this 😡. Is it because she's Muslim? Those horses are not afraid to go after people who bother them and this horse wasn't bothered by her one bit so this video title confuses me. I grew up with horses and this woman doesn't deserve the title of this video nor the comments. I can only think it's prejudicial bias. In which case, shame on you.
All I can say is these are old tape and now the horses and guards have the month away from this madness. Have a good rest horses and troopers. You put up with so much, rest well. I'll be here when you get back.
Would separate the pavement so you can walk and stop behind the barrier to look at the magnificent horses and the immaculate lifeguards. The horses are being touched all the time which isn't great for them. These troopers are on duty they are not there just for holiday makers to bother them. A little respect would go a long way
What will it take for "Guards" to tell idiots to leave the horse alone? You don't have to be a horseman/woman to see that the horses hate the attention!! Well done to Guards in their suffering of idiots too❤
Why does the guard not say ,, leaves the horse alone ? She was so long there , other people want a foto ..why do other tourists not tell her they also want a foto . Certain guards are useless , they don't care .
I’m more upset with your misleading intro than what this women did . She quite obviously knows her way around horses and the places that they liked to be rubbed on. If the horse wasn’t acting so content I’m sure the Guard would have pulled up his horse and urged her to leave. Giving that these particular Guard horses are already bored with their job of just standing quietly a massage from a friendly women was a nice reprieve.😊. There are so many obnoxious people touching and pulling on these poor horses that when a kindly gesture comes along everyone is so ready to think the worst.
What? I can't believe is that these people shove their children so close to these horses that are at least 1,200 lb And 21 hands high! And as far as the woman in this reel I don't care if she's been around 10,000 horses. This is an active military unit. This is not a playground! These horses are trained as well as their riders! Personally, I don't feel anyone should touch the guard or the horses without being arrested! There is absolutely no respect and these guards have to put up with that Bs.
Pues actualmente ha cambiado. Y ya no se pueden acercar a los caballos ni a los guardias. Me alegro. Es de verdad unbverdadero infierno aguantar esa marabunta de gente.
I don’t think the tourists should be allowed to touch the horses but I don’t think she was doing anything wrong. The lady asked for permission and paid attention to the horse’s body queues, walking away when the horse told her it was enough. Seemed to enjoy the scratches. 😊
So stupid tourist, did not realize that horse gets scared of the scratching, same as if a lion came to scratch nose, and then she even pulled the ears! This was so disrespectful to do.
OMG all you sad people out there ripping into someone, clearly mob mentality. The horse belongs to the guard, the guard is fully capable of removing anyone that oversteps the mark. The guard was happy to let her continue so you should all be quiet.
The horses are considered troopers just as their riders are. People aren’t allowed to touch the rider let alone maul them. The human trooper COULD and SHOULD put a stop to the excessive behavior displayed by some tourists. The horse has no voice; the rider does.
The lady in question clearly knew horses. She made no sudden moves her petting and scratching was smooth and sure. She stopped when the horse seemed to be annoyed by the attention and tossed its head. She knew where the itchy spots were and never hurt the horse. Even with the scratch around the ears. My horse loves a scratch around the ears after he has been wearing a bridle for a while.
I totally agree, that woman knew horses, the horse is loving every minute, if the horse was unhappy she would have soon known about it. The Guardsman on board had no problem with her, and he knows his horse.
Nothing that shocking really. She probably thought the horse was enjoying it. I think at times the horse did but other times not. It's never a good idea to take liberties with an animal that doesn't know you. I blame the Establishment for allowing people to fondle the horses, whether its just a little or a lot. Working dogs are not allowed to be petted by strangers, so why would they allow the petting of their working horses? I just can't get that upset anymore over this. Obviously the Establishment doesn't care. Guards don't always speak up either.
Why the angry face emoji? Read a comment that described this scene and without any dramatics but I guess they are not after views. I always read comment first to make sure I'm not wasting my time, I didn't watch the video so time not wasted 👍
It is a bit mean to hold the palm of your hand out tothe horse as if you are offering it a snack when you have nothing. Not saying that people should feed them.
i think the problem tourists have is they have never seen a live horse, that woman was just stupid and annoying, people forget these horses are working.
This isn't a pettying zoo people my goodness have respect for the horse's just maybe they don't want to be touched by your energy, but humans always force themselves
She was ok but stayed way too long. People were waiting for photos. You also must consider where horses eyes are. They have blind spots. These are quite tolerant to manhandling and paws coming at them.
The horses and riders are only there for an hour and the whole purpose is as a tourist attraction. Touching the horses is allowed - just not the reins.
So I'm sure those boxes were made within the last hundred years, right? If your statement is true, the whole military institution that they serve is false? Get a grip!
@@kellyaldridge2912 False? - Don't understand. The army is the army - it's definitely not false! Sitting on a horse for an hour is a tiny part of their overall duties and I guess only a small fraction of the soldiers do it - what would be the point of training them all to control a horse - it's hardly a useful skill in a modern army!
