These people think that everything they do is funny. From touching the horses, touching the guards, making fun of the guards, you name it, they think it’s funny. So sad that humankind has come to this.
'They' don't necessarily speak English or read it, they feel the need to touch the horse, don't know why but maybe the warnings on the wall might help if they were written in foreign languages. Just a thought

The female police officer (3:47) has more balls that the rest of the officers combined. She sternly tells the offenders not to touch the guard rather than asking them not to do it. They need more officers like her.
As we all now know, any of these’ tourists’ could pose any amount of threat to the horse, guard and other bystanders. I think any invasion of space shouldn’t be tolerated at all
I am amazed at the number of people who have no idea of boundaries, even with it written out; “Do Not Touch The Reins”. Yet idiots walk up, grab them, as if they are above the rules.

Tourists who come to Britain these days are very rude and lack manners, particularly in London when they’re visiting Buckingham Palace and they try to get on the wrong side of the King’s Guards and their horses! Someone needs to teach their arses a lesson.
Buska I am sure you could release a endless video of Rein Grabbers Bridle Holders Boot touchers and it would never be boring, they come in waves sometimes one after another and always amazes me that they can stand there hearing someone being yelled at and then go up and do the same thing themselves expecting to get away with it. When they are being "natural" at their posts (I used to own horses, a miss them. But now I am too old and frail to ride, groom them, etc.. Grooming a horse helps to create a bond between the horse and the rider.)
I'm in awe of how majestic, powerful, & tolerent these horses are and how small these clueless tourists are next to them. Questions: when the guard units rotate out, do the horses rotate with them? Does a specific guard have a usual mount or do they rotate on the various mounts. Thank you so much! I enjoy your videos. An admirer from the US.
The Title says it all. Tourist don't know where to put themselves , nor do they have a Clue, of what goes on here. The 2 Key words here , are CLARITY and SAFETY. Tourists should be always guided here . This film and many others, proves that point.🇬🇧
Having watched several of these videos it immediately begs the question - why not rope off the zones in which the guards operate in? It's just absurd that these men and women have to endure the needless pawing and prodding by tourists.
@@michellewest3404no idea what that person is talking about. @Bizz55 The reason they don't rope of the area is because some times the horses don't obey and go for a walk, ropes or fences would make that less safe
I really dont think these people associate the horses and guards with the military. Its just costumery and spectacle. Until they get yelled at or charged. So satisfactory to watch. But they still dont get why. Its all about the tourist € in the end. Theres no way tourists could get that close to similar guards in any other country. Try acting that way in the USA. IMO the MOD should keep tourists away from the mounted guard. Photos only. No touching.
You have to feel some kind of empathy for many of these seniors, many of them look lost, fragile and unable to understand the commands (being a senior myself) their families are the ones that should be yelled at because they are not helping them to not get too close to the horses, as they may get hurt‼️
I can (sort of) understand people trying to cut through the box when the doors are open, but where do they think they’re going to go if the doors are closed?
London is probably the only place in the world where the public get right up alongside serving military soldiers on duty like this. Combine that with the ceremonial uniforms and it’s not surprising that a lot of tourists act in these ways.
I blame the royal family for allowing these men and women who are guarding them to be treated in such a way. Makes realize that men and women that fight in wars really mean nothing to them
The security of the guard is paramount, I don't understand why a perimeter cannot be made so that the public can only. put their hands on the horse even the guard soldier.

I will say it does look like English isn’t the first language of a lot of these tourists so they probably really don’t understand that this isn’t like Disneyland. They see other people takin pics so they probably think it’s okay

Stop calling them ignorant, rude and stupid tourists. They do this because they are looked at as spectacles. And they are looked at as spectacles because the powers that be allow the guards to be manhandled alone with the horses. It isn't the tourists fault. Stop the public from getting close to the guards. No one takes the guards seriously. Put up barriers. Pure and simple.
Is It so hard to search the bloody Internet and LEARN the the RULES before travelling to London to take a damn picture. Women,you are not Super Models on a Photo Shoot,most of you have Faces that would Stop a Clock.
Why is it so hard to understand bet you can't go up and grab someone's leg would these people want people to come up and grab their legs!!? And it plainly States you cannot grab the horses reings AND THEY MAY BITE OR KICK.. HOW SIMPLE IS THAT😮 good grief act like you've been out in public before people!!
I understand people aren’t allowed to touch the reins (shouldn’t be touching anything really) but I hate how some guards yank on the reins. I feel bad for the horses.
