Dealing with entitled idiots day after day must really wear thin on the patience levels, all of the Troopers from all Regiments get my highest respect for what they do and what they have to put up with.. Some tourists are just asking for a good yell and charge for their behaviour, the laughing when being shouted at clearly shows intent and also shows they have no respect at all for where they are and who they are doing their rubbish to. Keep safe Keep Strong 🦘🦘🦘🦘❤❤❤❤🎄🎄🎄🎄🎅🎅🤶🤶
And it also shows the immaturity and lack of intelligence, when they have to be yelled at more than once, charged at, threatened with sword action and reprimanded by the police. I ķnow it's not funny, but it always makes me smile and laugh at the immaturity and lack of intelligence, of many of the tourists who obviously think it's their G given right to do what THEY want.
Disrespectful all of them. But the lady with the kid takes idiocy to a new level. I feel the Guards do not get paid enough to put up with the tourists.
Oh man they even managed to get that lovely LifeGuards trooper to shout at them. And he’s a really nice guy when he’s on stable duty, and quite soft spoken…..but I guess idiocy can make even a saint crack.
Anyone notice how much more vibrant alert when the guards let them charge? I think it’s a more effective way to get the tourons to obey, they may giggle or laugh but they do it with urine running down their legs.
If a guard allows a tourist to pet the horse (some do) they will usually specifically instruct them 'don't touch the reins'. I've also seen signs with that under the warning that 'horses may kick or bite'. Interestingly the 'don't touch the reins' warning isn't on the signs I saw here for some reason. Doesn't take a genius to figure out if you're sitting on a six hundred kg vehicle with a mind of its own that responds to rein pressure automatically, it would be like someone grabbing the steering wheel and brakes of a motor vehicle you are on. You'll note that even where the guard allows contact, he watches where they put their hands and instantly sees them off if they grab any part of the reins or bridle. As an old horseman, I know these things obviously, but even with signs and a guard yelling at them, some of them don't seem to get it. Seen several vids now where even the horse got tired of it and had a snap at them. Some horses are more tolerant than others. Even in the civvie horse world, I've seen one clown jump out in front of a horse trying to scare the girl who was riding him. Barring the obvious stupidity of jumping in front of a moving half tonne of horse, or the danger of a fall for the rider, unfortunately for said clown this was in an outback area and the horse was an old Waler that was unphased by roos, foxes, cattle and the odd emu leaping out of the bush in front of him and he just let go with one front leg and punted the twit into the back of the feed shed. By some miracle he didn't break anything (though I was told he had a very interesting bruise on his abdomen). Then her Dad picked him up and literally threw him out the front gate into the road. Ungently I might add. Three of us watching, including his girlfriend, just applauded. His mates called him 'Horseball' after that and his girlfriend dropped him like a dirty rag. Some people are walking Darwin Awards.
@@geoffroberts1126 • Thankyou for the belly laughs...I do wish I'd been there to see that! 😅 Some of these clips are quite old, that's why some of the signs are missing the "don't touch the reins" bit.
Touching the reins is akin to taking the wheel out of the driver away. This is his control of the horse! They are not there for your amusement! These guards are trained soldiers.
I totally agree with you, these people (and i use the word very loosely) don't seem to understand that the guards are trained soldiers, and at some point in their service have to do ceremonial duties, hat's off to all the guy's and ladies for their service 💂♂️💂♂️🙏
These tourists do not understand how long it takes to clean tack it has to be taken apart piece by piece cleaned then put back together again ,it's a long process ,then to have tourists put their dirty sticky fingers all over it
At 0:38 that lady guard is my very favorite one! She’s a no nonsense lady, very protective of her mount, not very patient with idiots around and not shy to give a good shout whenever it’s needed. Men are arrogant but women are entitled and delusional.
All of the torist are so disrespectful it's a wonder the police didn't see the man with the balaclava on that is disgusting in my eyes he has no panache.
1:11 After this tall guy gets shouted at for holding the rein, he comes back to argue with the king's guard. Yes, right. Like there is a chance he could win the argument as to who is holding the sword. Definitely not him.
the public is too close to the horses and should have a minimum distance of at least ten feet - ignorance and disrespect are a major prroblem - these are soldiers part of the Britisch armed forces and certainly not a sort of Walt Disney presentation
The queen guard soldiers should not be allowed to be accessible at all to the public it’s stressful for the guardsmen and the horses alike they should be behind a locked gate because even with stark warnings on the wall the people keep trying to touch the horses and their equipment it’s ignorance and disrespectful to the queens guard these brave men fought for our country and our freedom they garner more respect than what they endure every day
Why on earth do all of you keep on bitching about the tourists. They do this because they can get away with it. Wake up people. It is tiresome reading so many whiny complaints.
