I know it’s been a while hopefully you see this because I’m indecisive wether to choose IHC I just have one question is it the 1000 dollar dropkit you are talking about?
Great videos series. I bought the IHC 3/5 drop kit for my 2015 Ford F-150 xlt super cab. I have the carrier bearing. The kit I ordered came with the carrier bearing adapter plate. I have the kit professionally installed. After driving my truck for several miles and have no issues with vibration, no squeaks. Great kit from IHC. Thanks for recommending.
I have a 2018 with a 3/5 kit and mine rides perfect. Better than stock. Took my brother and i about 7 1/2 hours in his driveway with jack stands. It definitely is a tough job. And damn we were sore the next day
I don’t see how the Belltech can ride much worse. The spring is still stock, just moved to allow it to be lower, unless the strut is just that stiff. 🤔
This kit rides like factory no lie. When doing research for lowering kits we found the most positive reviews from this kit. A lot of people on forums was complaining how the Belltech kit rattles, speaks and rides like crap. We found a couple RU-vid videos complaining about this as well.
I just bought this for my truck where you able to reuse the exhaust in the rear? I know you guys pulled it. Was it a must to pull and the e break cable as well?
@@ABrianLewisVlog yes I’ve done that to mine but you say you still have vibration 25-30mph after relocation. Mine vibrates 30-35. Any ideas. I have a shim under u bolts. Maybe I should remove ?
One thing IHC should note is that the control arms will not work with 4WD's that have certain adjustable aftermarket coilovers as I found out. The springs on my Icons extended to the bottom of the strut which came into contact with the axle forcing me to go back to stock.
Anyone, that has done this modification, have comments on towing after lowering? 1000 pound tongue weight, 7600 pound trailer, 2021 F150, 4WD, hybrid, Ext Crew Cab, 5.5 bed . BlueOx 1500 pound WD. Thanks for the input
Smoking crack saying it rides better than stock. Just installed my IHC 3/5 on my 2020 crew cab and I’d be pissed if a mustang rode this bad. Wouldn’t recommend this kit at all.
I also have a 2019 crew cab and the front end rides soooo dang stiff it’s ridiculous you can’t even push down on the front bumper and get the suspension to move , I’ve contacted IHC and they said to loosen the bolts and re-tighten but funny thing is I didn’t have this issue with a 3/5 Belltech kit
@@williamdubyaog1334 I’ve played with the tire pressure and found that about 31-32psi in all 4 tires gives an “okay” ride. Still much stiffer than factory though.
Well worth the money. Rides just as good as stock. It’s been a few years now and still holds up. No issues other than the original drive shaft vibration but we did a video and covered that fix
