I listen with a knot in my stomach. I’m worried, I can NOT understand how women in this day and age are not worried about losing their rights. It’s putting this country back over fifty years and I don’t hear more women making way more noise. I’ve tried saying a few little things to people, no critical thinking at all. What the hell!!
Some women don’t want their husbands and families to know that they are pro choice, so they stay quiet, but in the voting booth they vote for their rights (which is Democrats) 🗳️💙🌊
@@marybell3013 Being Pro choice is not only about abortions, it’s about making decisions for your self about your own body, health and even your own rights and beliefs. Whether I choose have an abortion myself or not is not the point. It’s about freedom for all women to make decisions. If someone is afraid to tell their loved ones or family members how they feel in this day and age..what does that say about our society as a whole?
I hope they do vote their minds. The only women that want this are being controlled by their husbands. When it comes to supporting the children, you have to force them and sometimes jail them. When my daughter's mother and I broke up, I had no problems with paying child support. Once I paid her rent because my child lived there.

We have amnesia in America...People have no idea that we used to actually tax Extreme Wealth and had higher corporate taxes and it resulted in the rise of our Middle Class...People have no clue what role Unions had in creating a middle class...Eisenhower admitted in public Strong Unions were crucial to maintaining a Middle Class, if you allow wealth to pool in to the hands of a few they will rig the entire political system. Reading Teddy Roosevelt's autobiography should be mandatory in school, he opens up in the first chapters explaining how corrupt and bought both parties were in his congress. He also tells us how impoverished and exploited the average American working class family was, many had to live with other families under the same roof to afford the rent payments and it was customary to forgo a child's education and send them off to work to help bring in additional income...

I graduated from high school in South Carolina in 1974 with an A-B average. I had to take 2 years (4 semesters) of remedial English and Math in JC just to qualify for English 1A and College algebra. My boyfriend graduated with a D-F average, barely passing. I now realize that he graduated with a 3rd-4th grade level of education. He has not cracked open a book since. He’s an avid Trump supporter. I finished my degree in Biology in 6 years and have been an avid reader since. I am retired now from a career as a Wildlife Biologist and Forester, and I cannot talk to any of my friends from high school. They are incapable of critical thinking or forming an educated opinion. Their opinions are based on emotion. I have to remind myself that one cannot talk politics to a 3rd grader. Our country, particularly in the South, failed so many people by robbing them of the education they deserved.
Everyone who doesn't agree with me is stupid, and I wouldn't bother discussing anything with them anyway because they think with their emotions. Oh the irony, I don't think you're quite as smart as you think you are.

Someone on my table game at the casino where I’m working was saying he is pro-Putin and backing the blue and he hates the current President’s job. Someone next to him said “ it’s a blessing that you live in Illinois “ and everyone else was laughing. I hardly paid any attention to Trump until he became a serious threat to win the presidency in 2015-16. Before that I thought he was just an ongoing joke of our lowbrow entertainment mediascape. But all those years of being an outrageous buffoon on TV and radio is what has paid off for him in a country where millions of the uneducated and undereducated watch televangelists, Jerry Springer, and thousands of other mass-market amusements.

I love how you ladies talk about this. I don’t hear people speaking about the religious aspect of it enough. I’ve been saying to my husband for years that the selfishness and “rugged individualism” people show is one of our country’s biggest problems. Trump’s brought this out in people and has modeled how not to feel shame for it, but unfortunately it’s been around for a long time. All you need to do is hop in your car and you’ll see it on the daily.

I came across these two ladies on RU-vid and have so far loved everything they said. They are elegant, intelligent, well spoken, great analysts ladies. OMG..what would the world look like if we have women running it 🙏 These two ladies are SO much better than any news journalist out there. They are analysing the situation and tell it like it is. When you're in the Trump cult, there's nothing you won't excuse for dear leader. As a former right-winger who voted for him twice and have since become more progressive, I did the same thing. My brother is still a supporter, and I'm always hoping he'll see through him and stop supporting him, but I don't know if I can hold my breath.
