No knob per function or sliders like vintage analog synths? Purist will sleep on this beast of a synth. My Uno Pro looks good sitting on the control panel of my spaceship.

Best demo of this synth that I have seen to date... I would really love to see what this $400 (in destop format) synth would do in a direct comparison with a $2000 Sequential Pro 3. I'm sure the Pro 3 has some great features, but is it really worth 5 times more??

I always buy synths for the character of the sound, some are very distinct like an Odyssey or a Virus. Also, some like Novation make great pad sounds so I guess if "it's" the sound you're after then price if you can afford it shouldn't matter. I bought a Virus C because I was doing a lot of Trance then and it excels at that.

basically a matter of build quality (the elctric components included - lot of people just refer to build quality by the chasis), customer support and the feeling like having a tesla - so you become a higher being

Ich bin wirklich am überlegen ob ich mir noch einen hole, bevor es zu spät ist. Ich finde, er klingt sehr musikalisch. Das Design ist für mich ein wenig zu "plastikmäßig" und wertet ihn ab. Aber das ist reine Geschmackssache und lediglich meine Meinung.

Der USP ist echt super, das Plastikgefühl ist in der Praxis nicht da. Klar, Design ist immer auch Geschmacksache, aber rein vom Sound her finde ich den USP absolut überzeugend (und stark unterschätzt)
