I was like you once. Young, optimistic, and gung ho. I too once thought, the creators would bring balance to a game wrought with overpowered support heroes, unfairly annoying damage characters, and useless tank heroes. Then kiriko was released and I realised how naive I was. They would never stop. And all I could do was sit and watch as the childhood game I so cherished was slaghtered. More support hero's ruining the game, more tank heroes quickly being forgotten after release due to their unfun playing style. But there was HOPE in the form of PVE something that may FIX these sins. But alas how wrong was I. Do not ever rely on a team of fork tongued liers to do what their fans want. I am only teaching you dear child.

You're blinded by the visual design and her abilities. If you look at the actual design from a wider point of view relative to all other heroes, she is another character that doesn't fit the overwatch universe by using magic, along with Lifeveawer, Ramattra and Kiriko. They are all badly designed.
