No tribute gift ever had more of an impact that the fast growing rice give to Song China by the Champa Kingdom to their south. This video attempts to explain why this AP World History Modern Illustrative Example is included in the AP World Curriculum with some contextualization, explanation, and a few REAL AP essay questions that could've used Champa Rice to help answer the prompt.
