Horrifying I knew pay for Japanese animators was bad but never imagined that bad. Even fast food workers get paid better than them in America It’s no wonder so many of them look like they’re in hell or want to shift their focus more into directing or writing their own stuff. The amount of work they’re put through for such pitiful pay would make anybody want to rebel
@@SoulStarSketchin yeah it’s crazy, I feel the only good thing is that you don’t have to go the “traditional” way if you want to make your own stuff. With all the new possibilities online. Probably easier said than done though.

I saw this video recently. It's really unfortunate how Japanese companies exploit their workers. They're some of the most passionate people on earth and they wind up with very little to show for it in terms of money. =\
Love your channel. Wish you made longer videos about you drawing or more manga coloring with others manga. I also think they need more money and definitely a more colorful satisfying workplace. Like Pixar. I'd barely leave if it was like that. Artists need say in what their office looks like

There's this interesting translated interview from *Shmuplations* website, about Capcom's illustrators (Kinu Nishimura; Shoei Okano; Haruki Suetsugu (SENSEI); Bengus) talking about what colouring they used for their artworks during working at Capcom.
