I'm noticing a lot of animators are changing they're art style at least a little bit. Odd1sout making his animation look more diverse every clip from all the animators working on his videos, Jaiden changing her mouth movement, and SomeThingElse changing his art style ENTIRELY! It kinda looks like the new Scott Pilgrim show, I absolutely love it! Keep up the good work, and glad to have you back!

I can definitely agree with idea of only having what you need. I've always liked to keep my desk space--which, as a just out of highschool dude who still lives with his parents and shares a room with his younger brother, is my only space--nice and tidy. The one thing that I would say doesn't follow my standard philosophy is my bookshelf, but even then, I do read the books. Books are the one, non-essential thing that I'm willing to dedicate my space to. For anyone out there looking to minimize, try to keep one or two things you love. If you like video games, keep your collection. If you like rocks, keep your rocks. If you like art, keep your art. They might not be essential, but life would suck if all we had were the essentials.

Holy hell I relate with being stressed by a cluttered desk/work environment. My brain can’t handle too much clutter, and I tend to minimize it as much as I can. If you have a cluttered work environment that’s stressing you out, take some time to straighten and clean it up. Trust me, it will make you feel SO much better.

Lovin the new art style! It feels like it really suits you and like it’s something you yourself appreciate and can be proud of. I’ve also had a lot of the same problem, wasting weeks worth of time and money on tablets and wacoms and stylus’s and art gloves and software in the pursuit of being a better artist, but that whole time I didn’t make a single animation. I felt like the only thing that could help me was better stuff that people who WERE good at art already used. Now I’m back to it and I’m dedicated to getting my sisters animation done for Christmas. Also super glad your dad’s doing better, I hope things continue in that direction. Keep it cool.

adam's animation style has changed a ton! and yet looking at his past work it seems like he was heading in this direction artistically before any of us knew it. it has a different coat of paint but still feels very familiar, i personally love it

It's been a hit sec since I've seen one of vids, and I gotta say, you're art is lookin' great!!! I love this kind of style you got right now, very, old school computer analog if you know what I mean! Also, I feel you with the decluttering. A bit of a different scenario, as I grew up in a hoarder house so I'm finally getting rid of stuff I've had for . . . 20 years, but still. Decluttering feels so good, if definitely makes me feel like I want and CAN do things, like draw at my desk. Having a clear space really motivates you do do SOMETHING. Instead of walking in, getting overwhelmed, panicking, and leaving or just going bed. So I'm glad you've figured it out!!! It takes a lot of work to actually create a nice space, so I'm proud of you! And if anyone else there is trying to figure out how to declutter, whether you've just bought too much stuff, or were a hoarder, you can do it!!! ♡♡♡ Take it one section at a time. One part of your room, or one category of items. It may not happen over night (unless you just get a dumpster and throw everything away), but it's possible! Maximize your space so you can do what you want in it!!! Good luck!!!! ♡♡♡♡

This hits home for me, I experienced a loss this year that was sudden and wrecked me to my core. And when I found the energy and motivation to do something after like a month of grieving. I started going through everything and rearranging my whole apartment as a means to cope. To regain some semblance of control. I donated everything I decided to part ways with (minus a box of electronics I need to take somewhere to sell). It was very cathartic and after I was done I felt lighter and just…more at ease. Now I just need to maintain the habit of “put it away don’t just set it down and forget about it for 2 weeks” 😅

Man I love the animation quality improvement and how SomeThingElse has a calmer voice then he did years ago I have watched his channel since I was like 5 maybe younger and it is so nice to see how similar it feels like when it was when i was young it just has more of calm tone to it nowadays and I don't think that's bad in the slightest I look up your work SomeThingElse ^^

Maybe I’m looking at things from a “lesser” perspective cos my parents can’t find the money to buy me a setup so I feel like this video helped to deal with what little I have to begin with. I love this style,in some sense it also reflects to me that you dont need the greatert to be the greatest. An overly flashy or even just fully rendered artstyle isn't needed to make something that looks really cool.

Make sure to request for an itemized list and fight for every item. If something is listed twice? Fight it. Charged $10 bandaids? Fight it. Make sure you dont get scammed by going through everything.

Ok amazing video but….the music almost made me cry, zalinki made great work with it, especially the transition from the cute, happy, video game-Esque music at 3:56 to the more chill, lo-fi type music at 4:21, basically the same rhythm but in different styles and it just sounds so nostalgic and…..idk just, great video 10/10

I can relate to buying stuff i don't need, mostly artbooks, i have some that i use, some that i don't. Although, i tend to have a lot of crafty hobbies, and therefore, i have a lot of craft equipment that i switch between, and a lot of decoration to make my brain go YIPEE when i see it. The way i go around it is that i buy things second hand, or on sale. Artbooks at second hand bookstore, unfortunatly lots of aliexpress for decoration, most of my furniture is either second hand or cheapest ikea storage. It doesn't help the root problem of wanting new things to keep a flow of fleeting happiness going. But it keeps my wallet in an okay condition. Anyways, i loved the video and i'm glad your dad is doing better now. Best of luck to you for the future

What I usually do whenever I go shopping is I only buy something if I either need it extremely. Or I follow a rule where if I look at it 3 times or more I'll get it. Because if I keep looking at it for days weeks or even months then I'll get the amount of dopamine from finally getting the thing and being able to use it.
