Dude I'm honestly so happy to hear someone else also does this, Lol. I am always able to get a straight 10 minutes of concentration and focus with Immora playing. Not an easy thing to do
@@mcsquared5005 but wait, there's a 20minute version 🙃 mega.nz/folder/6CBS0DCL#Ahp_YZg_H1ELkpVFlbw_rw It's in there under TAG2, Immora Heavy Combat (full)
this is making tear up knowing that it is fucking imposible AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
@@huleyn135 I felt the opposite - I love the song in it's entirety, but the way this was cut within the game was perfect for the double Marauder. Chaotic af.
@@alarak2159 yeah especially since when the choir and hi hat come in, that part feels a lot faster than the rest of the song. Not too long ago that part came on when the possessed baron and carcasses spawn in on the final fight and it was amazing.
@@alarak2159 who would’ve known that there’s a super advanced cybertron like city at the center of hell. Anyway the level is very chaotic with all the tanks and aircrafts getting into dogfights like 40 feet from the areas you fight and Levy did an amazing job at creating a combat track to compliment the chaotic nature of a hell siege. Just the music alone makes me keep replaying this level.
The best part about this mission is the fact that the Argenta finally got a chance to show how much of a badass army they are. All while we're ripping and tearing, the armies and dragons of the Argenta are laying siege to the Hellspawn of Immora like it's another Tuesday for them.
Part 2 of this best part...it basically IS another Teusday for them. As far as humans are concerned, the Sentinels may as well have been the first badasses!
@@theonetruejoe312 Maybe we’ll get a prequel to Doom Eternal that shows humanity’s ferocity Or the counter offensive that the ARC started after the Icon of Sins defeat
@@pugasaurusrex8253 hell I’d even be fine with a video or animation like the cutscenes in the game as it shows the ARC retaking Earth. Don’t even need a sequel for it
And there were barely any Night Sentinels there besides Valen and the Slayer. The majority of the Sentinels were killed when they were scattered in Hell. Theee are just regular Argenta warriors. Using “regular” in regards to Argenta warriors is disgraceful to em lol
Yeah TAG soundtracks are amazing, we get this from Levy and then blood swamps from Hulshult. Mick gordon can't be replaced but god damn they are living up to the Doom name
@@mintypickle4 I agree with him. While Davoth's fight music was good in parts, like the bits that reference Mick's Doom theme, Dark Halls, and *especially* Map 13 from Doom II, the rest of the track just felt really flat. Andrew could've upped the intensity and perhaps put in more melodies and more emotional choir bits to make the fight feel climactic. But no, the part where you're in ingmore's sanctum sounds like you're at really lame rave that happens to be next to a church.
@@bluedog843 If I didn't know about that World Spear secret I wouldn't know what Penta Marauders are let alone quadruple marauders... but now that I think about it this would be harder because there is less space to fight them in since in World Spear you had the whole field hmmm
@@redeyes8536 It's "AND BLOOD" I believe, "APART" would make more sense actually considering how would you rip apart blood XD Doom Slayer would find a way lmao
Naa, THE SUNS LORDS WOULD RISE AND ASSEND IN BATTLE, THUS CREATING THE SLAYER THROUGH ALL THE BLOODSHED AND HEAT, TIME WILL REVERT FROM ALL THE EXPLODINATIONS CREATING THE DOOM UNIVERSE
When i first saw the two marauders spawn in, and then the screechers i immediately activated them. There were tears, sobs, and an extreme satisfaction afterwards.
@@aiharakotokorulesbluerose4170 'For he will walk among us, and he will smite the evil from this earth. For he who comes in our time of need is not of mortal breed, he is the Destroyer, the right hand of our Creator and the one who brings fear where there is no hope.'
Legends say that when you been in hell for so long, you gotta get creative and make music from the demons you slay. Every bone, membrane, blood vessel is the choir, the beat, the heart of the track. Doom Guy is the instrument and the composer. Ripping and tearing his way making masterpieces. Lol keep up the great work! This entire time I found myself grooving and mentally moshing for 10 minutes and 30 seconds.
Did you hear the official mix of that Levy teased? It's fucking nuts I nearly fucking crashed my car when I first heard it and that part dropped 😂 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-L6y21SKTtJI.html "Headstomp" @ 1:39
There needed to be more arena fights *inside* the walls of Immora. Not only was it absolutely amazing in there, but I don't remember hearing this bad boy enough. I can only assume the master level is going to be fixing both of these complaints >:)
Love this! I'm still curious what the metal choir is actually saying though. I know at some points they are saying "Rip and Tear" like in Meathook, but the other ones I just can't make out, like starting at 0:28. Anyone else know??
Mick Gordon stated in some short docummentary that they are screaming some demonic language words that he created and don't mean anything at all. Syllables are made of demon names
Man just playing through Doom Hunter Base, I totally forgot about the vocals in the ambience for that level: "Musk has terrible trouble for me"... I knew that dude was bad news. I'm 99% sure those are the samples David used for (7:41), obviously with alterations... Doesn't help figure out the lyrics but hey And I think the faster part is "rip and tear their bones apart - to the death, no surrender" 6:40
6:17 I love the transition and stops. 5:22 The vocals here are sick 8:53 DUNDUNDUNDUDN-DUNDUND-DUDDUNDUND-DUDUNUUDUDNUDNNDUDUNDUDNUDNUND 2:49 same as 8:53. DUNDUNDUDNDUNDUNUDUDNDUNDUNDUND 0:49 HELL SHALL FALL and cool high pitch sound
I wouldn’t call this “Metal.” I’d call it “Rusted Metal.” And that isn’t a bad thing, it just means it’s SO MUCH MORE GUTTURAL AND AGGRESSIVE AND FUCKING AWESOME
@@IconOfSin It's not manga, lol, it's animated web-series released here on YT with only pilot released as of now... And 5 episodes + pilot of its spin-off in same universe called "Helluva Boss". Vivziepop and her team still work on it. It's in even weirder place right now than Metal Family (another web-series released on YT, but with 1st season finished and second in "production").
@@spakeschannel my bad, only briefly looked into it. NGL it doesn't interest me, the last animated series I watched and enjoyed was Monster - which is spectacular
I've never seen a decent estimation of what's being said there. Someone said Mick made up words out of demon names for the choir but that quote could have related to the 2016 choirs (Damnation). The closest source I've found to that part is in the ambient music in the Doom Hunter Base level, but I have no idea what's being said there either.
Probably something like "RIP AND TEAR" "KAR EN TUK" "IMMORA" "UNTIL IT IS DONE". At the end all you need to know is that your allies are literally screaming the Slayer's motto and encouraging you to rip and tear the Dark Lord
Ingame, recorded about 5 iterations to get usable head and tail and mixed the shit out of it. Tried my best to find that file. I don't think it's the first music file in that new bank which I've seen suggested (not that I didn't spend an hour trying to open it / rip a usable version). Tried ripping the original catalogue to see if it was in there but that's unchanged since TAG1. Checked other soundbanks too. It's in there and if you hear of anybody who finds a way to get it please god let me know I need to hear that before it hits ingame compression.
@@IconOfSin I recently went and asked David Levy if he knows where the stem ended up. He hasn't gotten back to me yet but surely he would know because he made this song
@@TheArgentPaladin it'd be great if he does, chances are very high he has no idea. The files are most likely getting named automatically as part of the packaging process (not design process)
