FTR your Manscaped link doesn't seem to work for me (possibly others?). Don't see any of your 20% discounts being applied, shipping is already free, and can't actually add click anything nor add things to cart without being redirected away from your link and to the main website. I hope they're not screwing you by doing this intentionally, but maybe something worth checking with them?

Hey legend, what about allying with nurgle as clan pestilens? Those plagues give them tons of bonuses still don't they?

@@fornalotta8767 pretty sure pestilens only gets bonuses from skaven plague. need to check but nurgle units are useless to skaven, their roster is like x10 better

Nurgle is a great ally if you are playing clan pestilins, love them plagues

@@Raistlin663 don’t nurgle plagues count as a different plague to skaven plagues I seem to remember them not helping clan pestilence at one point

the Chorf Contempt mechanic might also make Chaos Dwarves not care about outpost units routing and vise versa, assuming chorfs can even get outposts set up with the way their cities work.

AI currently cant do much against the Greenskin Waaagh double armies. Major reason why Dwarfs lose almost always to them in the mountains, too.

I find Wood Elves incredibly competent too, for obvious auto-resolve reasons. Not very good at expansion, but for a magnet for the enemy, they can hold forever.

Grimgor gets buffs when playing as Kholek I’m pretty sure (but would have to check the table to confirm). Also if the GS endgame has already triggered by the time you subjugated him, he retains most of the endgame buffs too (which are huge), don’t know if that was the case in your campaign. Also unlike landlocked norsca they have good economy and pretty good roster. The only downside is that aversion might be a bit of a problem although I've never seen a vassal breaking free like in WH2

Did they fix the balefire cart bug where it wasn't applying the imbuement? Cuz last time I checked the cart was a couple months ago, but it was still bugged to not apply it's auras

If I recall correctly Tzeentch has a cult in Cathay, basically theres obsidian colored birdmen(not beastmen birdmen) in Cathay that try to influence stuff behind the scenes

There are absolutely landmarks not worth building over normal buildings. Cathay has a couple that are purely local, non-economic benefits in areas that are nearly 100% secure once you take them, for example.

honestly a lot of this list seems like it's done from the point of view of an order faction like a bunch of those factions in the bad allies section are pretty fine allies if you yourself are a chaos faction and the reasons given for Slannesh being bad (Seductive influence) only apply if you're playing a Human faction, Elf faction (which makes it odd that he singled out Morathi, an elf, as someone that can make allies with them), or Beastmen. it's completely safe if you're playing as Vampire Counts, Dwarfs, Greenskins, Lizardmen, Skaven, Tomb Kings, Vampire Coast, Khorne, Nurgle, Slannesh, Tzeentch, DoC, or Ogres and should be safe for Chaos Dwarfs too.

@@Eclipsed_Embers Skaven make great allies for Archaon, the only thing WoC lacks in their roster is strong artillery, you can get both plagueclaw catapults and warp lightning cannons from the skaven. You don't generally want more than 4 units of artillery anyway, it's not like you're playing Balthasar Gelt.

​@@Eclipsed_Embers Yeah, and tbh i don't actually find that Chaos is more unreliable than average, Kislev for example has betrayed my alliance plenty of time when playing as Cathay/Empire, the only truly reliable order factions are High Elves in my experience

@@JustSome462 honestly I find that the unreliability only really applies to a few very specific factions. specifically Arkhan and the vampires (if you're playing a non-vampiric race. otherwise they're pretty good allies) and the Skaven (I've never found any way to get the Skaven to actually stick to a deal, but if there's any race that'd be unreliable they're the most fitting for it) as for more reliable factions even High Elves start to get a bit unreliable if they don't like you. I've had multiple times when I've tried trapping them in non-aggression pacts or defensive/military alliances to basically just stop them from declaring war on me, they seemingly wait the bare minimum number of turns to avoid reliability penalties, break each of the agreements 1 by 1, and then declare war

Helstorms and other good artillery units are usually cheap in Allegiance points for the impact they can have, especially early game if you can grab some Mortars with about 7 cost from Empire or VCoast.

Exactly. You can only get 4 ally units per army anyway. So limited rec on their is not a big deal. Especially when you have 4 TK allys. Early game, their infantry may be garbage tier, but when your poor free skeleton archers are nice. Later you can get their artillery and constructs. Even if you only get one catapult, sphinx, Ashanti bow, and some other random unit that is a powerful FREE boost to an army.

Did that as Vlad and Ungrim shifted from loving me (alliance, +300 relations) to hating me beyond your comprehension (-1200 relations) because he hates Drycha so much. But... he never declared war.

On mine he is on the verge of becoming a vassal of Archaon 😂 didn't even bother to be allied with him

Restricted but free units still pretty good, in my Thorek run Khalida and Settra was my great traditionalist ally. A Necrosphinx for team up with the Thorek's Carnosaur was very fun.

@@simonteyssedre3261 when playing volkmar i just get 4 skele spearmen on every lord, including little trash lords who only exist to level up They mostly replace my empire spearmen since i go pretty range heavy with extra lords

My brother and I basically only do immortal empires co-op, big fans of vampire counts and wood elf and skaven and wood elf. Wood elves don't really care much about the diplomacy of other races, and you get the confederation quests for the other WE factions, and their roster is pretty decent for other races. Vampire counts bring bodies to clog up the frontlines and are easy cannon fodder that you dont have to worry about friendly fire, since it's all cheap units, and you can help turbo your wood elf ally as Helman ghorst by abandoning your capital at haunted forest at the end of turn 9, wood elf teleports over with a single lord and settles the tree, which gives them a tree to start getting upgraded for the forest health and landmark, you don't really need that tree anyway, and they now have a forward base to start shipping armies out of in your territory. Skaven and wood elves is fun because they are close to skavenblight if you aren't playing clan skryer, and if you are, then you can meet up and slap Carcassonne, plus your rosters fit different niches, wood elf infantry holds the line better than skaven does, and skaven artillery is quite helpful for the wood elves, and the weapons teams all fit into the WE armies neatly. That's just my experience with my co-op campaigns with my brother, there's definitely other factions that do well too, lizardmen with the revivification crystal bastilidon being able to give revivals to factions that don't have healing, or have high health, low entity count units is quite a blessing. Hope any of this helps, and enjoy the co-op!

You can pair tomb kings woth just about anyone for no hassle. Upkeep free units, for your friend to pull from outposts. Though no-minimal income of their own, makes using outpost troops hard to afford. Beastmen+anything chaos/skaven/ogres. Others chaos factions are neutral to you being allied to a beastman, so it doesn't hurt. Again sharing upkeep free troops, really helps others in the early game.

You are in for a rough time dude. Norsca is probably the most difficult faction to play. I myself played Azhag when I started WH2 and that was before the greenskins got buffed, so I kinda know what you are up for. I gave up on that campaign after trying so hard for 50 hours. It was q good idea to stop though. I enjoyed the game much more as the lizardmen because they are much more noob friendly. If you start getting frustrated with Norsca then I recommend you pick an easier faction and then come back to Norsca after you have more knowledge of the games mechanics.

It’s extremely powerful, you run heroes to whoever you want to be friends with and just start poking every single army they make, and give them a few gifts to get your influence up and so they don’t declare war on you

in my experience Warriors Chaos can pretty quickly end up with a decent number of options for army borrowing (mostly due to Norscan vassals) so for them it'll likely be quite easy (though it's a big shame (and a bit dumb) that the buffs the Champions give to vassal armies don't apply to armies borrowed from your vassals)

Always ally with Skaven as Khorne. Queek is the best. He typically won't betray you, as you are too powerful. Even if he does.... You don't really care. You are at war with everyone anyway, and it's just more rat skulls for the throne.

How would he know. He does not really play pvp
