The amount of new players and the lack of stock and problems with the electronics supply chains made everything more expensive. I should’ve bought a brand new t300 rs gt for 250 2 years ago. Now it’s 350 used. Fanatec has pre order dates that keep getting pushed forward while they are waiting for their chips.

Hello I really appreciate your remarks about the ffb, at the beginning of the video. Indeed too many people buy this type of material, to then put the ffb to the max, or to 20/30%

Wouldn't be surprised if it's basically Simagic letting another company rebrand their hardware with slight changes. Chinese companies seem to do this a lot.

Hi Barry, could you please tell me what make and model of microphone you are using and how you record your audio "if you don't mind". I like that type of microphone because it's always by your mouth, so the audio level and quality don't change when you move your head around, unlike lavalier, overhead mounted, and camera mounted microphones. Thanks in advance buddy, keep up the great work.

@Ww Jnz The Telefunken U47 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone, I'm referring to the tiny head-worn microphone that he has by his mouth. It's possibly a Countryman B6 but I'm not sure.

@@AboutaMileAdventures I feel nothing but disappointment when I use my CSL DD. I expected to be like "wow, this is amazing" when I got it. The first thing I said when I plugged it in and started driving was "Is that it?" It's so weak that I spent a few days trying to make sure my boost kit was actually a boost kit.

In the UK it's £910 for the base alone, or £1195 with the steering wheel. In Europe it's €1089 for base and €1429 w/wheel.

Interesting base! Personally I only use 1 hand on the wheel throughout a race. One handed steering, letting my right hand focus on the shifting. It also forces me to not rely on the steering when driving. But I like steering with more vibrations so I can get my blood flowing a bit more and get in the zone.

I believe it works the same as the other wheel base. If you want to use the other wheels, you just need the qr with your wheel and plug in thru the usb to your PC. But this one is smart that it actually has the hub on the base.

Barry won't answer, but the best is the VRS DFP. However, the Alpha and ET5 are much more consumer friendly.

We really need a scoring system on your website or ranked wheel/pedal/shifter lists. You do these great reviews but it is still very hard to compare products with each other. It comes down to watching all the reviews, discarding the ones that something negative is said about one of their features and then guessing between positive ones, I think we need better

Well interesting that so many newcomers flooding the market now. Great for us. And yes, FFB is highly subjective. But you say that youre aiming for a close to reality feel and a real life racecar doesnt oscillate as crazy when talking hands of the wheel. No offense, just saying. 😉 A little more damping and it should be gone for good

I race with a leo bodnar dd so every other dd out there is not as good for me but thats me. Your right though so maybe the pro is what u need. U will still have fun with it no doubt about it compared to a thrustmaster u would actually be in dd heaven so go for it👍

@@giogamer4825 don't listen to the idiot who replied. I have a $7000 plus sim rig on my PC with simucube 2 sport and heusinkvekd sprint pedals plus so much more. And I have the fanatec gt DD package with 8nm kit and it's fine. I use the fanatec for ps5 and Xbox series x only.

I will have to investigate if this is either a complete replica of the Simucube or a mix between copying and sourcing the same components. If this company is just trying to replicate Simucube, a 6-10% reduction in price compared to Simucube would still not make it worth it for me at least. For those differences I'd always go with Simucube. Would also love to hear what Simucube thinks about this company and their products.

Yep, I don't know why thrustmaster and logitech are so slow to the dd market. They have the door wide open for return customers to follow an upgrade path from their entry level setups.

Their (IMM-Source) website doesnt really work. It lacks its SSL certs and the page navigation as well as virtually every other button/href is not functional. I can't say I could take a company seriously with this level of laziness or incompetence - neither of which would be excusable really.

really not impressed with the software...damping at 100% (0 dynamic) should give the wheel realistic "weighty" feel... this one seems off a little. if youre peaking at under 10NM, then you should have headroom for plenty of detail.

look at how simagic started and then come back. this isn't so bad. this is their first wheelbase and the software was only released a month or two ago

They copied SIMAGIC wireless power design and communication as well as light sensor shifting technology. I foresee buyers with warranty risk if legal action is taken.
