Dearest Dr Campbell Please could you go through Koch's postulates and covid 19. I'm confused in that is there a new way of characterizing disease causing microorganisms. Also, pcr testing does not appear to be the gold standard in testing and certainly is not suitable as a standalone way to confirm a new microorganism. Thanks.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koch%27s_postulates you can read about the other methods following from this. The Bradford hill criteria for example. They use PCR for the speed. Other methods of detecting viruses are slower. Speed is essential if you are trying to stop it spreading.
@@queefman6285 I understand the need for fast detection in case of an outbreak of a suspected new pathogen. Doesn’t that put us in danger of sacrificing accuracy? And shouldn’t we perform EM in conjunction with other methods to confirm the findings? Mullis explicitly warned against using PCR as a diagnostic tool, because the data is subject to interpretation error and bias.
@@treemanzoneskullyajan711 because the evidence would show its not a communicable disease. So people will start asking why people were dropping dead in Wuhan, and parts of Italy and Spain...which the answer will come down to the blanket roll out of super developed 5g, where the gigahertz from radioactive frequencies can be turned up or down at will. People are not getting sick from Covid-19, because this hasn't been proven to be the communicable using the gold standard of Koch's Postulates. Now you may call me a conspiracy theorist. But for this one I where that badge with honour.
Yes, the virus can be collected from cases of the disease, it can be cultivated outside the body in cultures (usually grown in eggs) and it will cause the disease if introduced into a new subject.
Has the Koch's postulate already been applied to the influenza virus? HIV? Ebola, Sars, Mers? Has any virus been isolated so far, grown in petri dish, used to cause a disease in healthy subject? To produce a vaccine, doesn't the virus have to be isolated first? How is Gates n company talking about vaccine if virus isnt isolated yet?
