It been already 1,5year after my surgery acl and i still feel lil weakness in my knee but im progressing very slow sometimes i feel going backwards any advice?
It can feel like that sometimes, even later in recovery! Just keep in mind, it takes about 2 years for the knee to fully heal, so just keep working on it, and rest and ice if you feel you’ve overdone it. It’s something you’ll always want to continue to work on!
I’ve been using the tib bar for about three weeks now in order to build up the strength in and around my knees. I’m finding that I get knee pain The next morning in one of my knees where the IT band connects. I am hoping that this is just a strength/growing phase and that it will eventually get better. I’m constantly stretching before and after these and other exercises. Did you go through a phase like that?
Both!I like them both for different reasons! If I'm wanting efficiency, then the double leg tib bar. But if i want to make sure each side is equally strong, single.
This is unrelated to this video, but at what point after your ACL surgery did you start the knees over toes program? I am 4 weeks post op and I am bingeing your videos. Thank you for your content and your hopeful story! I hope to come back stronger than before my injury, too.
You definitely can come back stronger! I started at 1.5 years post-op but probably would have started the knee ability zero program at 3 months post-op if I knew about it sooner!
