I do feel great! I'm 66 and find your workouts are done before I know it. They are challenging, fun, and just right for me. I'm 5'5", weigh 111, have always been physically active, and have had two heart attacks.
What a challenging pilates workout ! Funny story ..I shared your channel with my 38 yr old physically fit daughter. I told her to not let the Senior Shapeup title fool her 😂 She called me after doing a standing pilates sweaty and jello legs 🤣🤣🤣. I told her they weren’t for sissy’s !!! I feel proud of my 67 self that I accomplish one of your workouts 5-6 days a week 😊 Thankyou for all you do !
I have been out of the loop for about 3weeks!!!!! So happy to have found some motivatio today and after yet another of you WONDERFUL workouts I feel ready to get back to regaurlarly working out with you...I enjoyed every minute of the workout I did today. I think you are THE BESST! Thanks, as always for saving me from myself - I am back on track to health and strength!!!!
Still loving your classes old and new! And just when I think it might be "too easy" it kicks in, wow! At year 71 and a lifelong exerciser I'm working on maintaining rather than progress or getting stronger. I enjoy doing multiple classes to get to 1 hour or more if I'm feeling strong. Thank you.

Good workout. Thank you so much for giving alternate moves for us that have had our knees replaced. Very painful to kneel. Not easy to even get down to do mat exercises.

This is a great workout. I have trouble with severe arthritis in my hip so I have to modify a lot. I’m hoping it will improve as I do this workout. Love all your workouts!

Hi Lauren, It's been a minute since I have done your workouts since I mostly do chair workouts these days with my Arthritis but when I had my physical a couple of months ago, my doctor suggested bodyweight workouts when I can and this one was very similar to one I did with another trainer yesterday. It was sweaty, and yes, I had to modify it, but it is a new favorite more, please ❤
Wonderful workout. I like the pace and movements. It feels like a total workout, I hope you keep making videos like this, it really helps this 71-year-old, arthritis-ridden body feel better!
My first exercise session since having my right knee replaced two weeks ago. With the modifications, I was able to do everything. It was perfect and it felt so wonderful to be back and moving. Thank you for all you do!

Happy Mother's Day Lauren-May 12, 2024. I love, love "Improve Your Strength & Balane Pilater Workout for Beginers". As I have shared before I am a 77 year old female and have made the commitment to exercise with you each monring, I set the alarm for 5:15am and turn on your U-Tube channel and do the work out routine for the day. I began on February 1, 2024 and remain dedicated to this routine. It is so important to retain muscle mass as we age. I feel fantastic and am so grateful to you for Senior Shape. Thank you!!!

What a great workout...I really enjoy Pilates, and for some reason, my body really responds well to this. Thank you for the modifications, I'm not a fan of mat work, so I could continue with those.
Thank you so much for your videos. I love doing these workouts. I'm in pretty decent shape (for 73") since I dance a lot, but have bad arthritis in my right shoulder so can't lift weights above shoulder level on that side. Nor can I do any planks. But you always provide alternatives which is so appreciated! You're really wonderful!
Good workout Lauren. I liked the combination of strength and stretching. I added some sun salutations and a supported legs up the wall (to reverse the blood flow for a few breaths). Speaking of which do you use yoga blocks in any of your workouts? Until next time, take care.
This was great and challenging, especially the floor exercises. I tend to ignore core workouts but now that upper and lower body are super strong, will try and do more core! How much core would you recommend? 2 or 3 10 to 15 mins sessions a week? Thanks as always❤
My pleasure Liz! Any core work is great and so beneficial! Once the core is activated or worked you will tend to use it more throughout the day. So even smaller amounts more frequently is great. Try for 5-10minutes 5 times a week.
Another great workout-thanks! I’ve heard that somewhat higher impact exercises are good for osteoporosis, like heel drops or small jumps. What do you think?
