I wanted to do finger pushups because they seemed impossible to do for me, so im starting to do this exercises from today and I hope i will soon reach my goal.
Thanks man. I needed this because I play football and it helps a lot with having stronger fingers. The chances of my fingers getting jammed are much lower, and i can now grip the ball way better. Good video!
These are helpful for me. I had a stroke in Feb 2022. My finger strength is weak and I needed to find exercises to do to gain the strength. Someone shook my hand on my affected side and I had no strength to hold their hand and actually shake their hand. I had no idea how weak it was until that happened. So here I am.
Very good video it’s very useful however I found this out a week ago by myself 😅 another tip is you can make wall push-ups even harder by lowering your hands down the wall closer to your waist, this also works with floor push-ups.
I always do finger push ups on the wall but never on the ground so it was challenging at first- I needed this since my finger coordination is good but strength isn’t (since I play volleyball)
You can follow the same progressions for 2 fingers, I would probably recommend cycling through the exercises with different fingers not just the ones you want stronger, just to keep everything balanced
you mean strengthening your fingers to play softball? I can't speak specifically to softball, but I've never heard anyone say 'My fingers are too strong'. Which means it will either make little difference or help
Great workout on the hand. I have trigger finger on the big finger toe especially in night time. I thing I only can do on the wall because I have back pain so can’t do it on the floor. I will followed on the wall workout.
Hi Anandhu, I'm not really qualified to make punching power videos, but trunk stability and rotational ability are important - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E8pK0hgPqL8.html
Probably not range of motion, possibly dexterity, but not likely I would recommend more fine motor exercises for dexterity like pinching clothes pins with your various finger to thumb and doing finger stretches.
Possibly, it depends how strong your fingers currently are. Usually to get better at a specific task I recommend practicing that task and if you find exercises help then do them, but if you find they make no difference don't worry about them. The only way to truly find out is to use trial and error
I think it helps a lot, although none of my teachers ever told me somethingblike that. I think it helps because once I went to the gym and develpod some thinger strength, after I got home that day I just realized I could play pieces much more clearer, faster and with better rith. I think it is a very underated habit.
It hasn't made mine any thicker, just stronger. For thicker fingers I think you need finger and grip strength consistently every day, maybe even as part of your job.
A couple things could be happening, you may need to do harder variations, you may not have the finger position quit right, a lot of people try and go right on the tip of the fingers or let their fingers over extend out which stresses the finger joints instead of the finger muscles, or 10 days may not be long enough yet, although if done properly you should notice at least very minor improvements
good luck, your thumb usually takes the brunt of the load in finger training, you'll have to be cognizant as you start back into it to avoid re-injuring it.
Will I be able to hold a basketball with one hand for longer time ? Cuz right now I can hold it for 2-3 seconds then it slips out and I have relatively average sized hands
Probably, especially if you're doing gripping and squeezing exercises with your hands, simple wrist flexion and extension exercises would less effective at strengthening your fingers
Hii my fingers are very weak they shake a little when palm placed in air also gripping is very weak things just slip out of my hand I think it's because I have been using my phone for like 12+ hours for last 2 3 years now. I am writing this comment in the hope you will reply to me like u did to others after many years please do give me some advice
I would wait until your fingers heal a bit first and I would definitely ease into it by doing wall exercises first or just pushing down on a table with your fingers.
I recommend Hanon exercises instead. Those exercises will give you finger strength and the precision needed for piano. You can find the sheet music here: imslp.org/wiki/The_Virtuoso_Pianist_(Hanon%2C_Charles-Louis) And you can learn more about Hanon exercises here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H-8Qre0-IyM.html If you still want to do finger pushups to help with piano skills, keep your fingers slightly bent when doing the pushups, as if you were holding a handball, like in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_DHM9Zg_0iY.html
Putting strength into a passion is worth the time, even if you can't press a key normally you should just try with more force even if it aches. And yes building finger strength will help with it.
@@Fitnessforfreedom its a game mainly for teens something like an asian would play like you see those videos where asian people do impossible things? yeah
probably not, I probably would focus on eating differently to lose fat across your entire body, you can't really isolate areas by just doing exercises on that area
