Look at Dr Carr introducing the African culture to our people. Dr Carr is indeed a divine gift to us and unapologetically I AM GRATEFUL FOR THIS MOMENT IN TIME....IFA........

I love how Dr Greg Carr can go in and out of topics in the conversation. He can start you on a path, walk with you 5 paths away, and get you back to the original path and not miss a beat. That's sharpness of mind and great leadership right there!!! Because I'll get sidetracked and forget all about where I'm going sometimes.🤦🏾🤷🏾😂😂

Mind blown! There is a scripture, in the Bible, that says, My people perish for the lack of knowledge! You said it best, Professor Hunter, you and Dr. Carr are a dynamic duo! Both very powerful apart, but, when joined together, something extraordinary happens! I'm grateful for being able to benefit from your years of study and hard work. Grateful.

After the last few shows my husband looked up and me and said Dr. Carr is a national treasure and I indeed agree!

Dr. Carr brings such a vast wealth of knowledge and I always walk away with so much knowledge and wisdom, these are my favorite segments on this channel.

My late father, in the 80s, told me to notice Mickey Mouse was originally black. I am in shock that Mickey Mouse is an old minstrel character.

To those that wanted to start a book club. I just started reading Martin Luther Kings book "where do we go from here" that Dr. Carr said everyone should read a few weeks back. I think it should be the first book.

Awesome! I connected the dot a few years ago watching the little clip of the original Mickey mouse that's shown before The Princess and the Frog comes on. The gloves had me like wait, the only time I've seen these gloves were minstrel shows. Good to have confirmation from a Black scholar.

I got some reading to do about Yorùbá people. Dr. Carr references them a lot. Awesome session! 📚

This was a cool discussion as always. Thank you Karen Hunter and Dr. Carr!!! Daffy Duck was my man, I won't fake. Bugs too😅😓 Speaking of Bugs and connecting the dots to previous Class with Carr, does anybody remember the Inside the Actors Studio interview between James Lipton and Dave Chappelle from approx 10 years ago? Lipton asked Chappelle which comedian influenced his style the most (or something to that affect) and Dave Chappelle responded, "Bugs Bunny." He went on to break down what he admired about Bugs' comedic delivery and timing. Overall great interview, but that always stuck out to me. Dr. Carr and Karen Hunter are doing some heavy lifting. The booklist and the conversations are inspiring!! We all have to continue this type of study ourselves and be prepared to look at things anew as we do. There is no shame in knowing, but there is responsibility attached to it. Thank you Dr Carr! As a black child of the 60's, Nat King Cole was a staple in my household! I totally agree that no one was smoother than him in voice and presence. Actually no has been able to those shoes yet!
