Loved you honest review of this paddle! I’ve owned mine for only a week now and will keep an eye out for the issues you mentioned. I really do enjoy the paddle. Hopefully Diadem can address these issues with a permanent fix.

After 5 weeks, I've experienced all the issues you've listed. I've broken 3 paddles in the last 3 months (Diadem Warrior, Gamma Fusion Pro, Franklin Centre). It might be related to cold weather causing the materials to be more brittle. Next set of paddles will be Gearbox CX11E 8.5 Power and CX11E 8.5 Control. I don't know if I'll love the way they'll play, but at least with a carbon fiber core, I won't need to keep replacing paddles. Love your reviews and thanks for your insight.

Agree 100% I am on my second one in 6 months and edge guard is separating again . My first one completely broke on the inside you can hear the crunch . They gave me a good deal on two others thinking about selling and going with a different paddle

Haven’t had any issues yet. Been selling the warriors since they came out in Nov. 2021. Many players have switched to it and absolutely love it, including myself.

Love the Icon since I weighted it at the throat.

I have seen lot of people brush their paddles a lot on the ground. That is usually the issue. The paddle is amazing. No competition.

Broken Warrior Sound, exactly how my two Diadem Warriors sound. The 2nd one I have is a replacement, so I'll contact them and see what we can do at this point; as I've not wanted to pester them with an issue that came up two and a half weeks after I had received the replacement during late December. But now that the video is out.... now would be a good time to inform of the current situation (also haven't watched the entire video yet, so I'm unsure if you've mentioned the Air Bubble Issue that may or may not be prevelent). You know me from Discord btw xD and you have me on Facebook too lmao.

I got a first batch Warrior just after it was released. Haven't had any issues at all. Still plays great. Best paddle I have found so far.

Worth noting that my Warrior, after about a week isn't broken yet, but the grit feels like it's pretty much gone already.

USAPA just approved what looks like a full carbon face model called the "Warrior Edge" that may take care of some of these issues. Photo is available on the USAPA Approved Paddles list.

Great review, Chris, Would love to see you do a review of Electrum E vs CRBN 1 16mm & CRBN 1 13mm. If you wanted to round out the review toss in Engage Pursuit MX and MX 6.0. Really would like to know your feelings on where the Electrum E (no option on core thickness) falls within this spectrum of paddles. Keep up the great video work!

JUNK to many issues for the price and short time! Yes I know players at the club that got them and ALMOST had me roped in to buying one but then it started!!

That just sounds like a bunch of bs manufacturing if u ask me. Especially for the price. I have a $90.00 z5 by onyx . Which I’ve played hard with for a few months and haven’t had one single problem. It plays as good or better than my mothers prince which is usually closer to a 160-200 dollar paddle. I see no reason why a high end paddle should have any of these issues

Poor workmanship is an understatement! Never seen anything like it. Paddle is clumsy and not accurate putting pace on the ball. Handle is horrible and not very well designed!! Pass
