In depth FIRST listen to Sleep Token (Reaction) 

Sleep Token are from London and were formed in 2016, all of the members wear masks. They have their own lore and are said to be the mortal representatives of the ancient deity known only as Sleep who appeared to the singer Vessel in a dream, he has said in his one and only interview that “we are here to serve Sleep and project his message.” They have released two Eps(One and Two) and two albums, Sundowning and This Place Will Become Your Tomb which along with the forthcoming album Take Me Back To Eden(out May 19th) will form a trilogy. Sleep Token are an amazing band who are quite unique, Vessel has an amazing range and such an emotional soulful voice and Vessel II(all the members are known as Vessel) is one of the best drummers I have ever heard. When recording the albums Vessel sings, plays the guitars and keyboards while II provides his magic on the drums but when they go out on tour they become a band and are joined by Vessel III(or bassy)on bass and Vessel IV on guitars. I only discovered them in July last year when I heard Alkaline but straight away I was hooked in and lost down the rabbit hole, they have become my favourite band and I feel such an emotional connection to their music. It’s great to see them really taking off now as they deserve all the attention that they are now getting. There are many great songs for you to react to, my own personal favourite is Jaws but you should also check out Hypnosis, Sugar, Atlantic, This Night Does Not Belong To God, High Water and the other songs released this year Chokehold, Granite,Aqua Regia and Vore. Basically listen to any song that is suggested and soon you may also be lost down the Sleep Token rabbit hole. Worship

Vessel’s true identity should never be known. I believe the mask is allowing vessel to sing about anything he wants without fear. To know his true name would be the end of the emotional connection we have with this music.

Seeing the comments section below makes me so happy. It just goes to show how important this music is to people, and how true to the art the band is. Cuz it's an experience. I hope i never find out the real identities bc it would ruin the lore and the connection i feel personally when i listen to ST. And if you listen through each album, there is a backstory that they each revolve around and are interconnected. Enjoy and Worship!

Their drummer is beyond fantastic, and I think that's where some of the Tool vibes come from. ii (drummer) has massive chops and is about as close to Danny Carey as I've found in music so far.

The more you dig into Sleep Token the more you find that they don't have a sound they have all the sounds They literally slap you in the face by meshing together so many different styles and genres I absolutely love this band I would enjoy more reactions to their stuff from you and seeing you delve deeper Some recommendations Heavier stuff -Vore , God's Mellow or Jazzy Stuff -Hypnosis , Sugar, Dark Signs , Bloodsport

I found out Vessel’s identity on accident and it crushed me! Wish I didn’t know. It doesn’t change a whole lot for me, I still am absolutely obsessed with this band and their lore but I don’t recommend knowing.

No real fan will tell you their names, even if they know. I'm glad you enjoyed listening to them! They're an extremely eclectic band who never sticks to just one style and absolutely blows everyone else out of the water no matter what genre they try out.

The great thing about them is every song sounds different. You actually listened 3 of their heavier songs. The have a lot more melodic dark songs with no heavy guitars in it. It’s awesome!

I just got into these guys a few weeks ago! Their singer plays piano as well, aqua regias a straight piano pop song where he really shines, hypnosis is a great song I keep coming back to and gods is on the super heavy side if you want that! good reaction!

You don't need Vessels name. Read their lore. Let them be anonymous, they are too good to destroy their plan. Worship.

the noise you pointed out in The Summoning as "a harmonic but not" is a pitch shifter i believe. i think they shifted the pitch up a few steps and then played two dissonant notes on the two highest strings at least thats my guess.

Definitely not new. Just finally blowing up. They're a masked band from England. If you really want to know their names it is possible to find. But honestly I think its more interesting not know. They also kind of have a cult woshiping the god of sleep. Worship lol
