Lived near Chipping for years and know the area well, don’t think that was there ten years ago when I moved to Northumberland. Do miss the Forest though, lovely part of Lancashire👍.

I did not know about that cafe but I have been to the one you mentioned earlier in the centre of scorton. I love to visit the trough of bowland any time of year, it's so picturesque. Thanks for the lastest vid Nick, keep them coming. Kind regards, Mike. 👍🙂🏍️

Hi Nick, Ive done the BMW offroad skills and it was an amazing course but a massive benefit to road riding too especially dealing with the hairpins in the Alps.

Hi Nick....in Oluzdeniz in Turkey at the moment but nice to see video of back home. Picked up peoplevin taxi at venue several times . Nice walk over the hills at the top of the road. Never frequented on my bike 😊

Top tip for riding through fords - try to follow the lines left by car tires/tracks as these are the most used and least likely to build algae. I think those boots are the AS Corozal - I have had the black version for about 3 years and they are a great choice.

Thanks Nick, enjoy your work, and you have given me good guidance on my previous requests, so here I am again. I’m planning a 5/6 day tour next spring for myself and two colleagues , ideally I would like to have a base in the Trough of bowland for a couple of days riding, would there be ample roads and scenery for a couple of days? Also any idea of a base to work from and a pub to accommodate us, then we would move on to the Yorkshire Dales then perhaps North York moors, taking in the passes etc with the same kind of itinerary, sorry for long spiel but any pointers would be appreciated….many thanks.

I’ll have a think about this but the trough of Bowland is small really and can be done in less than 2 hours. So probably best to make that part of a bigger day route

Ok thanks Nick, we could perhaps make the TOB our first night stop heading over to the Dales, we’re coming up from Essex, we’ve done the lakes a couple of times and crept into North Pennines and Durham but haven’t really explored the dales etc, so thanks for your guidance Nick

Interesting. Is there a story behind you swapping out the stock mirrors for the Explorer ones? I'm guessing that you haven't connected up the blind spot lights to anything?

Hi 🤚 So yes i am not keen on the look of the pro mirrors and when on the press bike in 2022, trip through Switzerland on the Explorer, i liked those better, the look but also more substantial. Yes they have little lights on them which i am not using as i don’t have the rear radar. They give a better more view behind also. Price wise the explorer mirrors are just around £4.50 over the Pro mirrors at £85 ish per mirror. @@MOTOUK1 Yes. I have to admit that the mirrors were one of the things that attracted me to buying the Explorer variant. By the way .the Rally is very competent offroad. I was really surprised to be able to keep up with my mates on their smaller adventure bikes on the mountain tracks

Hi, looks a great place not too many cars about and the type of places I like to go. I ride through winter too providing there's no ice on the road you can have some great trips. I'm also going to get a Gortex jacket so i'll be interrested in what you think about the Alpine starts one. Thanks for the video
