Chip, please please ease keep these vids coming. I don't think you know how much we love and enjoy your work and you explanations and thought processes. Please keep them coming, Joe (Somerset England). ❤
Got to give credit where credit's due Chip is a real Hands-On guy. It takes a lot of guts and vision to take what is undoubtedly one of the greatest mid-century design cars and completely chop it up he's got balls.
I'm very glad we are getting more videos. I love hearing about the changes and the reasons behind them. That's art right there being done by a legend in the hot rod industry.
"Tailor the car" Funny Foose said it himself, because i've always felt that he's like a proper tailor in London, where you take your suits to be trimmed and fitted properly, but for cars. Man has eye for taste and good design and more importantly, the talent and experience to actually use it.
Absolutely right. I’ve always admired the Lotus theme which is “ simplify and add lightness” ( I think) Anyway, Chip needs that too. What you’ve said comes close.
Only a Chip Foose can customize the beautiful Continental MK II and make it more beautiful! That's because you are a genius with the mind and art of Michelangelo and Da Vincè combined! I cannot wait to see the finished product and so grateful you are sharing the process on You Tube! Thank you!
I did the shop tour back in April and saw this car in the early stages. What a cool car, but Chip’s refinements make it way cooler. To the entire Foose Design crew thanks for such an awesome tour, and thanks for getting more amazing content out on RU-vid. You guys are the best. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ally Nice to See Chip and Son doing you tube videos. I Hold Chip in Very High Regard for his incredible Talents many years Now. Thanks Again! Love the innovation

Hi Chip. This is "Overhaulin'" for the fans who want to know the details . And just applaud your skills . My restorations have gone global, but you sir , are on another level !
It’s good to see Chip again. I always watched “Overhauling” religiously. No drama like on American Hot Rod or Orange Country Choppers, just restoring and building a cool car. I love Chips creativity.
13:11 I just love Chip's philosophy, his mindset when he modifies a vehicle. "They need to discover what we've done". That's just perfect, true Masterclass.
Chip you are a legend. You've inspired me in my car design journey, when I was younger. Your attention to detail is awesome, you dont modify cars, you make them what they should have been in the first place. Much respect, from Russia.
Chip I don’t know if you read the comments but my daughter and I have been a fan of your work for a long time. As a graduation present I bought her an old rail buggy and her and I completely rebuilt it the way she wanted it, we have won many first place trophy’s and the time we have spent together I will always cherish, thanks for being an awesome designer and roll model. My parents passed away when I was just a kid I wished you knew how seeing you and your dad working together warmed my heart, thanks for the memories Chip you’re an awesome dude.
I’m sure you enjoyed doing Overhaulin’ but I would much rather watch this any day of the week. To have the vision and then carry it out to perfection is incredible. Thanks for taking us along for the “backlot tour”. 👍
What a pleasure to listen to you, to learn something from you, to see you work. You are so rare in this world! And it's a shame that the videos with you are so short. Please make more videos like this. Everyone will appreciate it, I promise you.
Chip - don't know if you scan through the comments. I met Chip in 2007 at a Fast Fords car show at a major Ford dealership in South Florida when the Foose Mustang was introduced. Chip was inside the showroom signing autographs for a line of fans and he was surrounded by his entourage. I was definitely excited to meet the man but was showing my 2004 Mercury Marauder and didn't wanna leave for hours to stand in line. Before too long Chip made the rounds and walked through the cars and shook hands and signed autographs and even drew car caricatures on shirts and hats for lucky fans. I was so lucky to meet the legend face to face, shake his hand and get an autograph on my owners manual. I still have that car today and with only 56k miles it is used primarily for benefits, cruise-ins, and car shows. Chip is a humble man and absolutely brilliant. It was a privilege and experience to 'rub shoulders' and get to meet him that way. I will never forget how soft spoken and pleasant he was. Thank you Chip!
Chip is hands down the absolute best car builder !! I love being able to watch such art being crafted!! Always an inspiration being able to watch him work!! Keep up showing us how it’s done!! I love learning from the master!!

Dear Chip, thank you for showing us the details of your craftsmanship. Also, thank you for welcoming us on the shop tour last month. You were so gracious. There is only one Chip Foose!
Chip, your amazing and work ethic is a breath of fresh air it reminds me of my yesteryears of quality and hard work. If I hit the Powerball I'll be on the next trip to your shop and order about 10 customs !!
Looks like a fun build for sure.😮 I said it before I watch to see your style an way of changing things for a reason. Mainly because it hard to realize what's been actually done with out the car having a twin that's not been changed at all for a car person like me that's my favorite style of yours that you do. Why because not only does it make it obvious to me but because I can't hardly tell what modes have been made without it to the body at least or the interior either at times . Thanks again for allowing us to still get a glimpse into your daily routine Sir. An crew .
chip you probably dont know this but you are my bigges inspiration of all times when i say the movie gone in 60 sec i feel in love with that car and at the time i didnt know that it was your design and i started to follow your work and watching overhaulin and then i knew that the elenor it was your design and i was shocked because it was a great car that every one loves and you didnt brag abut it or tell everywhere you go that you build that car for the movie and that tells me how great and humble you are about your work and as a person because you gave us all a great gift to all car fanatics and you had left this great iconic car for all eternety to all of us and most people may not know that you build it but they love it like i do and i am gona tell you a story i live in mexico in the border and when i go shopping to the us i wear a foose hat most of the time and people had stoped me to tell me they like the hat and they are foose fans and i also have a gas monkey one and not a single time no one had said something to me but with your hat i feel the love that the fans has for you and they share the same passion as me and because of that i got in to customising cars and bikes to and now i have my you tube channel because of you and i wish i could meet you in person one day to tell you some other stories its great to see your channel up and running we love the content please keep uploading more and more often take care bye ......
One thing about chip Foose, every car he touches even cars you think he shouldn't make changes to everyone looks amazing,,he knows how to give a car real class.👍👍👍
Visited the shop a few years ago. Chip had the Imposter project under way. Along with a few roadsters... Absolutely amazing design work... This man is the automotive Rembrandt!!!

I have no idea how many times I have said it but Chip it is very cool to see you work on things that make you excited :) Really good job bud! They are going to flip.
Amazing and so cool to see that he still does all this himself ! Guess that’s the real fun part, no phone, no mail, just focusing on the work…. Also YES PLEASE TO LONGER VIDEOS, GIVE US 20-30-60 MINUTES even music and working montages are soooo great to watch !!
This is what I love to see. A true craftsman doing what they love while teaching others along the way. Hope to see more videos like this coming from Chip and the crew. Thank you for sharing with us.
Another awesome answer to "just make it cool", and possibly the best way to hire your talents, Chip. I think those were all the rules you had when you embarked on redesigning then recrafting the Alien. Also, I'm pretty sure if Edsel Ford walked up, he would have most likely commented "Why didn't I do it that way?" The original plan for the Mark II was for a two door coupe and a convertible- the convertible Mark is what the later folding steel top was originally designed for. But I wonder if Ford had released a Mark convertible, if their sales might have been stronger. Mr. Foose, you father raise a fearless child, unafraid to do the hard work it takes. Looking forward to see the next "chip", whether a car designer or whatever he will be, with the start from you and your dad.
I’m digging how slick and smooth looking it is. I agree Chip on the spare tire area! I’ve always thought they could look better and BAM you did it brother!👍
Chip you never cease to amaze me with your attention to detail and the subtle changes that make so much difference to the appearance you have such talent thank you for a fantastic insight into you daily work life
