Honestly I think asking for a date is fine, as long as you're fine with it if they say no. I mean, that applies in all situations, but I think a straight up question as to whether or not the person you are interested in would like to go on a date is way better than trying to flirt endlessly while you don't know if the person is just trying not to upset you by saying a straight no, stop it.

Unless they quit this job and move on, they shouldn't be asking me out at all. To me, that would be considered sexual harassment. The reason is, because I would say, "no" and then from that point on feel super uncomfortable. Work is not a place that you should be relationship shopping.

I recently had a creep on facebook try and "flirt" with me. He was confused whether I was a guy or a girl (I'm pretty androgynous I guess), and kept asking for my weight, hormones and height and stuff. But it got even weirder. He talked about possibly hiring me for a job (I make art and animations), and asked for my snap, so I gave it to him. But all he did was text me this weird shit about my pheromones or something, and said he had had a sexual fantasy about me. I said that was weird and I was already seeing someone. He said he wasn't looking for a date, just sex. I said no thank you. He asked if I was asexual, I replied I was on the spectrum, yes. Then he blabbered on about me being a perfect match for his sexual fantasy, and kept throwing all these "smart" words at me like "Your mandibula is very rectangle and you have deep orbita etc etc" whatever the hell that means lol, and how he knew me better than if we had talked for 300 hours - just because I was honest about my mental health. I said I highly doubted that, he said to test him, so I did. Like what my relationship with my siblings and parents were. Ofc he got it all wrong - because he knew jack about me. I took screenshots of our convo, and he got mad. I said I always did that with creeps online, and then he _threatened to sue me_ if I shared the convo with anyone. I kid you not! Ofc I knew that was an empty threat and I just blocked his ass. I still have the screenshots and have shared them with the guy I'm dating lol. We still joke about the "pheromones and 300 hours".
