I have a lot of Swing Out Sister's albums, some even I had to get from Japan as that was the only place I could get them. What always amazes me is how much better they are live and they can make the same song sound different if they want to put a different spin on it. Get lost in your thoughts and dreams and put on one of their albums, great band, I hope I get to see them live one day.

Saw SOS perform this at The Birchmere July 7, 2013. The closing groove is even more stunning live. Brought the audience to their feet, and Gina Foster's reaction was fun to watch, she looked like, "Hey, I think they like us!" Like? LOVE YOU GINA and SOS!

look here, lets just get this straight, these folks are INCREDIBLE musicians! I have seen some of the best, jarraeu, crusaders, metheny, duke the list is LONG. I have seen SOS in concert maybe 5 or 6 times ( I KNOW I AM LUCKY! ) they reinvent the songs in an awesome clever way and the band is ALWAYS tight. They rank up there with the best I have EVER seen perform. Astounding and Amazing, that is Swing Out Sister.... IF you have never seen them live, you have NO idea what I am talking about, THAT is a shame...

i agree 1000%! it woulda shoulda but to a degree i think the folks that MAKE the money off what we hear had a deciding factor in WHAT we heard and THAT in my humble opinion is a crime they commited of deprevation. SOS is the B.O.M.B and they are reduced to being heard on elevators and in grocery stores..shame.

I’m also a huge methenny fan. I had tickets to see SOS on NY but the show was cancelled when that Icelandic volcano eruption and downed all flights for a week. Bummer!!!

How am I just discovering this video now? I've been a Swing Out Sister fan for 30 years (yikes!), and I know the album version of "Incomplete Without You," and I must say I don't like it much. But THIS re-mix, with the more typical SOS lush orchestrations, is absolutely gorgeous! I just found this quite by accident less than a week ago, and immediately fell in love with it. What an incredible arrangement, and that soaring final chorus! Oh my god!

I never knew that thing, for me is simply heavently, because i adore Karen and Richard since i was only 6 years old (and now i'm 50 ... the Carpenters are still my favourite group all times) and i adore Corinne/Andy too and their magic music/arrangements/orchestrations. Karen is for sure the most beautiful female voice that i ever heard.
