Yall don’t need to be “ more professional”. Thats why people love you two! Continue to be your total self’s! That’s the way God design you both! Love you two. ❤️❤️
Cute, if you're a single senior, you wouldn't need queen bed full size would give more room, I'm guessing that fridge will be as small as an rv would have, not crazy about smooth glass top prefer electrical range, so to add in on the comical dialog of what can you do to add on or take out, can you put kitchen on opposite side next to washer and bathroom so plumbing is flushed to one side or would it make it heavy on that side reason for it being on opposite positions?
Thank you so much for keeping the up.dateds on things coming, I have been very much interested in your tiny homes and need one badly, and I am seeking all the information to see which would be the best for me, may God continue to bless you all greatly, best workmanship for the prices too.
Good morning Laurel and Hardy 😂 aka Randy and Amanda ! I love the new floor plan and the tweaks to the Incred i Cottage. It’s quickly becoming one on my favorites ! In my opinion, it’s good that you do N.O.T include appliances. That gives folks the option to buy the sizes, models they want…. And the little triangular step in the closet ? That’s a no-brainer… put a tall open storage bin on it for SHOES- hats, scarves, belts, and whatever else us ladies may have to much of - (mine would be shoes)!! Right now I am on the double swing on the porch, gazing out into nature, thinking 💭 ‘This is my life’ with a smile and a tear of gratitude.
Randy it's great that Amanda asks all those exasperating questions, as many interested buyers might do the same. But I do enjoy the banter you share. 😂
I have been watching ITH for more than 3 years. I was so taken by y'all's wonderful energy, yoga stretches, office shenanigans and doggie love, that I truly felt like family. I sent you a 'no questions, no strings' certified check for 70k - 11months ago. I drove 1400 miles from NM to TN to select a model, and to support you guys. Randy/Amanda would NOT even shake my hand, nor greet me. I was disappointed, confused and hurt. I cannot get them to return my calls, and they have phones with no recording device set up for me to leave a message. I wish this wasn't my reality with ITH. I just wish they would communicate with me.
Did you contact them AHEAD of your visit? Did you give them 1-2 weeks notice of your visit. R&A HAVE to ration their time & energy because of growth in the business. Did R&A have appointments or projects already scheduled during the time you appeared? Due to Covid, RSV, winter colds & flu outbreaks within the employees & community, shaking hands may be a complete NON-starter. TELL & SHOW me you contacted ITH well in ADVANCE of your visit, scheduled an appointment, & received confirmation of a reserved time slot, please.
So you sent money first "no questions, no strings" and then picked out the home?? Were you able to get your home now? I hope so because that's a lot of money just to send and then wait 11 months to pick out a home. I was under the impression you should pick a home, get a contract first, then pay.
Hmmm…….. just hard to believe R&A would just totally ignore/avoid any reply or meeting with you especially after your sending your money and ordering a home. Absolutely not saying your reporting this isn’t happening, just really strange. Did you have a signed contract? Did they know you were coming, have an appointment? Just strange.
I do really like the new updated design, however, I do have a few questions. 1) Can you have a door type opening in the bathroom into the adda I Cottage, for bathroom access from both sides? 2) Can the Adda I Cottage be set up with a wood stove, the bathroom entry into the original, the hallway where the laundry was originally in the original and a mini split in the add on. 3) Where would the mini split in the original be put if you have the Adda I Cottage added? 4) Can a person order some of the insulated panels cut to specific sizes to make something they (individual person) wants to build in the Increda Cottage? 5) What type stovetop do you put in?
@BeDoHave-so8nr Im curious, Ive been reading people's posts and other's responses. I've seen you respond many times. Always negative or hateful. Why are you even following this page?
So those of us that bought the deluxe when you first offered will we get that wood trimming as well…. Amanda I was thinking the same thing lol did you move the toilet😂 It looks gorgeous with that wood….anyway that the door will open into the kitchen, makes more since for me the way I want to live in it. I’d really love to see light floors, not fond of gray at all… Changes are great.
I think the reason the incred-i-cottage is so popular is because the bathroom is close to the bedroom. The other plans have them at the other end of the homes or downstairs with the bedrooms upstairs. Most of the residents are older and need to get up in the middle of the night. I for one have to get up three times. I'm certainly not young anymore (73) and cannot go through a whole night without getting up. That is the only plan I could live with.
I think I would rather you remove the porch and enclose that to make it 24 ft of living space. I could always add a porch later, and maybe even a wrap around.
Just love you two! I've been watching you both for five years and i am happy to say i understand everything Randy says..finally❤🎉 Saving my money in Florida! Hope to buy one soon!
You two are sooo funny. Im loving this. And i want one. 😅😅😅 i would have the kitchen and living room in one with the bed, bath and laundry in the other.
I'm delighted to hear the future emphasis on the I-Cottage. The Cottage + Add-I-Cottage is what I intend to buy. Just have to figure out where to put it.
I love this $44,900.00 is it including Everything and let me know if you have a space in one of properties there? I am TN woman veteran who lives in Florida but would like to relocate back home.
I am in Love! I think the open spaces are a good idea. Storage is so important in a small home. All the big windows let in so much light. How much do the window boxes and picture window add to the price. Also, do you deliver or is the buyer responsible for it?
@@Swim136 Do you really want to have this attitude with me? First of all, you don't know what will be done, has been done, and if anyone even cares to address my observations so sit this one out. It was my observation. Taking a cue from your own words, how about you keep scrolling by comments you don't like? It's 2024!
@@streetsmartintelligent I didn't say he did his business outside, hun. I said he urinated on the panels and if their reaction says anything it's that urine stained foam is quite normal. Maybe if someone calls it out, they will teach him not to do it but hell would probably have to freeze over before that happened since some of you think it's just fine.
Love watching ITH videos. Wouldn't making the Incred-i-Cottage roof a straight pitch on the rear side make construction/assembly line manufacturing simpler/more efficient Randy?
What you shared today on the incred-i- cottage and add -a cottage is actually what I was wondering. If I bought the both I would want the living room and kitchen together and no bathroom. The other bathroom, washer dryer combo and maybe 2 bedrooms. Would this be possible.
Earlier you said there wouldn't be any rooms in the add-a-cottage, so if you just wanted to keep the bathroom and kitchen where they are, maybe just put the washer and dryer outlets in the add-ons, how much would the add-a-cottage be???
Hey you 3❤❤❤love the wood, it adds great warmth to the cottage!! Have really missed seeing and hearing your banter😂😂😂Randy and the wall wire🤣Keep asking what were thinking Amanda😂 Im saving and praying ❤ITHs thank you for the hope!!
Good Morning! Randy and Amanda.. This is a lovely home ,nice and clean look! Great! everything on one level.Amanda , Your new nails looks nice! Keep it! Love these homes mite be what I get 🤔 yall still just as C R A Z Y 😂 as u was last time I watch . Glad to see u move toilet over 3 inches lol 😂 ( I seen that video lol ) love watching ur videos. 😊
LOVE LOVE LOVE YA'LL... WHAT YA'LL BUILD IS INCREDIBLE AND AN INCREDIBLE PRICE, INCLUDES BUILDING COMMUNITIES...INCREDIBLE! AND ACE DOING WHAT WE CALL THE FRISKY BUTT SCOOTS IS FROSTING ON THE CAKE!!🥰♥️🐕❄🤣
Randy and Amanda, I know you have been considering a special area later up on top of Buffalo Creek for a separate entrance and higher end homes like the Amanda. Would a I-cottage and Add-i-Cottage be allowed also in such a community? Very interested this concept and wondering if you are still considering this in the not too distant future?
Not likely, given the volume they have to order and stock. Why not just line it yourself with 1/4" cedar panels? A couple on the back wall would serve the purpose.
I believe the reply by @chezmoi42 is a great suggestion for the person who wishes "cedar". As he said......a couple cedar 1/4" panels would not be too difficult for anyone to add; therefore, ITH would not have to "pause production" any more than necessary. By the way, during this video, Randy & Amanda.....actually had me "in tears", while I was laughing out loud! R&A can be "so funny" while being "down-to-earth" at the same time! As one other person mentioned......don't change who you are! You have such "great" chemistry! @@IncredibleTinyHomes
@@KatieAllison77 Propane indoor heaters will add moisture. As well as cooking. I would insulate the floor where the hot water heater goes, so heat does not transfer to the frig or to the rest of the cabinet. I would put a vent for the enclosed cabinet. And make sure the back of the frig has adequate ventilation. This can be determined by placing a couple portable digital thermostat monitors to see how warm these areas get. If you put two of these together, I would definitely move the hot water heater out of the kitchen. Maybe make a high shelf in the closet of the bedroom. Need to properly position two air exchange handlers at opposite end of the living space, if you put two together. Very important to move air in and out in small living spaces. You can use a small watt wall heater, or an electric heater fireplace. I don't know if they still sell the high output wall heaters, thinking that would be to much. You just need something to take the edge off. Some living there has said a store bought little electric fireplace where you can change the lights was plenty. If you plan it out right a ceiling fan close could distribute the heat. I would do extensive research on this. Then find some alternative source of heat that does not depend on electricity as a back up. There is a dedicated circuit for the frig, but I would add a dedicated circuit for a combo washer and dryer, and a dedicated circuit for the hot water heater. Have an optional dedicated circuit for a future hot water on demand, where you can attach on the outside, then later build an insulated box to save space inside. Better yet have an option where one side has a stand alone insulated utility room that houses the water heater, fits the bigger combo washer and dryer. Allow enough room for someone to add a freezer or another frig or storage space. This would simplify the utility wiring in one spot, maybe have a subpanel if needed. This would offer more room for closets inside.
So, if you added an add-i-cottage and moved the bathroom from the original cottage to the add-i-cottage, would the cost be about the same as a cottage plus an add-i-cottage? You did not mention how much it costs for an add-i-cottage. I would love to see that set up! A master bedroom, a smaller second bedroom or office, washer dryer hook up, a kitchen with eat in space, and a living room! Wow! Y'all are great!
