It's a stock recipe from King Arthur Flour but I add a special ingredient to make it my own. Actually, I added something else to this batch that didn't work out as I had hoped. Still, they are delicious!
Here is the recipe:
Fudge Brownies
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cups cocoa powder
1 3/4 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon espresso powder
3 large eggs
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9” x 9” pan
2. Put all of the dry ingredients into a large bowl and mix. Then add the wet ingredients
3. Pour the batter into the greased pan.
4. Bake the brownies for 25 to 30 minutes, or until they're just barely beginning to pull away from the sides of the pan.
5. Remove the brownies from the oven; let them cool completely before cutting.

OMG I made these brownies last night and they were so good. I did not have chocolate chips but I'm sure that will take it over the top and make them totally amazing. Thank you so much for your recipe I can't wait to make them again for my friends and family

This looks great! I wouldn't refuse a brownie. I have a brownie recipe that calls for a tablespoon of Framboise liqueur (Chateau Monet brand) a raspberry liqueur. We haven't tried it yet but I bet it would taste good. tfs

I could smell it cooking from here. It's never a waste to incorporate alcohol into cooking.
