He did this in 1994 when he was 68 years old! Listen to the entire 3 tenors with Jose Carraras, Placido Domingo, and of course, the Maestro himself, Luciano Pavarotti!
"The face of victory" couldn't be more apt. I don't know if you speak Italian or had read up on the lyrics beforehand, but the three climactic repetitions of the word "vinceró" means "I will be victorious". That's why the names Vincenzo and Vincent are the same names as Victor. So in any case, you definitely got the message 😄
The whole history of the 3 Tenors Concert via the World Cup tournament is an homage to competitors working together, first in 1990 and then in 1994. As a result it turned all of them into Rock Stars, and blessedly the musical world in general benefited. I attended the 1994 3 Tenors concert and it was magical.
On the 7/7/1990 in Rome's Terme di Caracalla, The three tenor's consisting of Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo and Jose Cararas gave their first performance this helped to expose more people to operatic music and helped them to appreciate it's beauty and artistry. Please react to The three Tenor's singing O Sole Mio this is another fabulous song in their repotoire ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

How about a duet with Luciano Pavarotti & James Brown ? The kings of opera & of soul ? Check out It’s a Man’s, Man’s World performed by these two greats as a duet.
@@badmama1962 Everyone says the same thing. I believe, no I'm sure, it's the emotion and the power this man puts into it. I've heard others sing it & while the voices are very good the emotion just isn't there like it is w-Pavarotti. Look at his face @ very end -- that says it all.
Justin...just to give you a clue about his earlier singing...here he is in his early thirties...(32 at the time), singing "Ah mes Amis" at his Covent Garden performance of "La Fille de Regiment". This is what gave him the title of King of the High C's. Wait for the fire cracker ending...Nine (9!!) high C's in under a minute...each as perfect as the one before it. High, clear as a bell. And he does them effortlessly, holding the last one before going into the decrescendo. Jaw dropping!!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ASXYB_TQjpc.html Would love you to do a reaction!
