Always good to see the six. Mine has 126k on the clock, just needs a clutch sometime soon but still runs like a top. Keep enjoying it! Mine's probably never leaving me either.
Me and my brother just put a diffuser on his coupe exact same year except it’s a touring. I have an 8.5 gen and keeping it as a project car, hopefully a v8 swap and rwd or awd conversion.
13:17 For anyone w/ this car. There’s a lawsuit moving through the courts that addresses these issues (Chiulli v. Am. Honda Motor Co. Case 3 22-cv-06225-MMC). Aftermarket is near impossible because of the imid. I decided to slap a portable CarPlay screen on top and it works really well.
I have a few questions, 1) What are your thoughts on the Ultra Racing front strut bar? 2) What is your suspension setup and how much does it affect your alignment? 3) Are you planning on installing any other "bracing" (e.g. rear sway bar, et al) items to your vehicle?
Sorry for the late reply. I have no experience with that one but I like my DC Sports one. I have Tein Flex Z coilovers. You'll need to get a custom alignment after lowering a car. I have a 20mm rear sway bar from an Acura TL, that's really it
I have a 2016 Accord V6 Touring Sedan and have wanted to get the borla axle back and a k&n cold air intake to pair with it. what are your thoughts and review on owning the borla exhuast?
I had the same issue with the carplay, you just have to use apple maps instead of google maps and everything works fine for the most part, still glitches here and there. But for sure 80-90% less. Also its better if you don't fullscreen the map app, I only use it on the multitask view where you can see the spotify widget as well. No real fix but I found that this was the only way to mostly avoid the issue. I think it also helps if your phone is the only one synced to the carplay whenever I connect a friends phone to carplay it starts bugging for them and disconnects often.
Unfortunately yeah, the original sub I had, something had come loose inside and was making a terrible rattling sound. Rockville wanted me to ship it back to them on my dime, which was going to cost more than the thing was even worth. So I chose to just buy another one. Thankfully that one has been working fine for many months now. No issues with the door speakers
Not a Honda guy (Mazda’s all around me), but curious what you mean by CarPlay having a meltdown. I’ve always been under the impression that the phone runs CarPlay and most problems are caused by connection issues. How’s the Rancher doing?
The radio glitches/crashes/freezes etc. The phone does run CarPlay but it’s the radio’s job to display content. It has so little RAM it just runs out and crashes. Rancher is doing great! I have 821 miles on it now, just did the 2nd oil change. Been having a blast with it
wow, 35k miles on higher performance tires! Id forgotten how long tires are supposed to last lol. My Tesla 3 chews through them tires! My original tires only lasted 25k miles before I needed to get new ones. Since you have an accord, what do you think about the new Accord
Yep lol it's the weight of electric cars that makes them eat tires. I bet a ton of people don't realize that. I used to have Continental PureContact LS tires years ago and was on track to get 60K out of them. I don't mind the new Accord, it looks better than the 10th gens and it seems like a smooth reliable daily driver, but it's still a 200hp hybrid so it doesn't have the same soul as my coupe. Definitely wouldn't trade mine for one.
@@accordinglyryanfinally someone else who thinks the 11G Accord looks better than the 10G! Honda just went too crazy with the 10G. It doesn’t help that so many 10G Accords are riced to hell and not in a tasteful way.
