I think the Raspberry Ripple scheme used by aircraft with the A&AEE, RAE, DRA & DERA is my favourite Tornado livery. The real aircraft this example is based on would have tested all sorts of cool kit. Btw, the GR.1 had two Mausers. The GR.4 replaced the port gun with black boxes. Point of order: in the timescale this aircraft was from the talking freight would be called a navigator. 😉 EDIT: Rach breaks all windows in North Wales! 😂

Love ALL The sweep wing jets from the eras gone by, The Tornado goes on the list of "to get someday" for me lol. Though I think you're still missing checking out the F-111 Aardvark on the market. Not the deepest systems but deep enough for me, and it's a kick in the pants to fly as well. Would reocmmend. Great look at the Tornado, AvAngel!

She' s an absolute gem to fly, who also doesnt has all kinds of big issues on launch. India Fox Techno out did themselves to my opinion. She looks and especially sounds awesome (especially when your just cruising she makes this almost asmr gurgeling sound for the lack of a better description), Im loving her🥰.

15:53, RAF Navigators would go to great pains to point out they aren't WSO's they are Navigators :p Navigators are officers WSOs are NCO Aircrew

reminds me of the best work conference i experienced, the speaker was a female tornado pilot in the RAF, she had many interesting stories, including having one of her colleges needing an emergency landing in cypress due to the after effects of a hot curry... seems it was still hot as it left his body... ouch.... she also had a 'kill' in the joint American British war games...

I've just got this, what a stunning model to look at and fly! Only issue I'm having is I've got no reheat effect showing and the buckets aren't going over the nozzles when engaging reverse thrust, Any ideas?

One of the most beautiful jets in the sky. Great memories of airshows and them screaming past. Market place still hasn't got it so cannot buy it as i like the auto updates. Nice review, I know you don't like it (Not your thing) but you had the open mind to still admit its great. Sitting and waiting till it's on sale.

Probably would have been pricey to get VO for the WSO. Jester alone has well over 1000 lines in DCS F-14. Probably about half that for msfs. I can live with their solution though.

The ADV (Air Defence Version) had a different airframe shape - extended towards the nose to accommodate under fuselage air to air missiles and an air to air radar.
