Whatever he is saying I can relate everything. I was in a relationship with a girl, for me she was the ONE (or thats what I thought) . But later on I catched up on her behaviour. She was too much possessive, and always made me feel guilty if i dont meet her expectations, she didn't even let me talk to my friends. She will call me during my work hours and get mad when i dont talk to her (she knew i am busy at that particular time but still she will call at that time everyday) Everytime when she finds me busy on call she will ask me to send her a screenshot about who I was talking to. Years passed, i was suffocating. I wish for it to end but I didn't even want to hurt her. Things were turning so bad for me, i was becoming suicidal. Then some time later, her behaviour changed. It turns out she was talking to some other guy till late night. Then one fine day I caught her cheating on me. I was hurt badly, but at the same time I was relieved that I am free now, from all the suffering that i had to endured during that relationship. I let her go with that new guy, didnt even said a word. After some months she again contacted me saying sorry for the cheating she had done, that the new guy she is with is not like who she thought would be. And here I was living my happiest days as a FREE man 😂. ( which ofcourse made her mad and she blamed me that I moved on too fast. Lol ). Its been 3 yrs since that incident,and I haven't been in any new relationship. Not because I haven't met anyone but because i dont want to end up in that same sh**.

I am a law graduate and during my internships I have seen how things get ugly inside a family court and the most surprising part is most of the cases were love marriages only. Once the honeymoon period in a marriage is over the illusion of marriage being a beautiful thing is shattered and then each of the spouses start seeing the flaws in each other which they previously ignored because they succumbed to physical needs.

I'm 26 and in a 5 year relationship with my partner who's 33. We're both from different cultural backgrounds. His family has known about me since the beginning but now I'm planning to introduce him to my parents after Diwali since his family wants to meet family now. But there are some things which are making me under confident in moving ahead. Age gap, different cultures and cities, educational qualifications (he doesn't have any professional degree as such whereas I'm a CA final aspirant), his financial condition (he's self employed so he's been having a lot of hiccups in his work)- all these things are making me insane and I'm feeling like postponing telling about him in my family (my parents are okay with inter caste/cultural marriage provided the guy and the family is decent). Shwetabh I've severe ADHD and i can't afford diagnosis. Study is the only way out of financial crisis for me but even after trying so hard I can't study as much as I want to. I really don't understand why you don't talk about your struggles with ADHD and people who are going through it. Disappointed
